I had to get up early to take Annabelle to School, I wasn't part of the ton that would leave their children to nannies or babysitters, of course she doesn't go to work with Me, she is in kindergarten and when I'm at work only then do u call a babysitter. Anabelle is the best thing that has ever happened to me after my first lover. She was my little bundle of joy. I never had plans to have a baby or bring her into a world like mine, but when she came I made sure I prepared myself well, trying to be a good mother even when I had no idea about what to do.

Annabelle’s POV I hadn’t realized my feet were moving. Or that I’d even left the courtyard. I just remember the silence swallowing me whole. I remember my legs shaking. Aron nodded and quietly got up to place the order. As soon as he left, Annabelle let out a breath. She always felt like she was drowning when she was around him—unable to breathe. She checked the time. It was only 2:50. *Why did I come so early?* No matter what, she’d stay thirty minutes at most—definitely no longer than 3:30. While waiting for the coffee, Annabelle browsed the nearby shelves, hoping to find something light to pass the time. But the books here were mostly philosophy and economics. She wasn’t in the mood for anything so profound or complex—she needed an easy novel, something immersive that could shut out the rest of the world.
