Chantelle POV: It had been three months since I left my uncle's house and moved in with Declan. I was finally beginning to feel a sense of peace. For the first time in a long time, I felt safe and cared for. Declan and his staff had been so kind to me, making sure I had everything I needed. I had tried to help around the house, but the maids always shooed me away, telling me to relax.
