Her story is quite interesting though. As time went on, however, she and Peter became very close, though she remained uncertain in what direction their relationship would develop.

Peter walks back into the room. ‎“I am so sorry I lied to the policemen,” Mr. Peter says the moment he enters the room again. He shuts the door behind him gently before turning to face me. “I had to lie so they wouldn’t start questioning us.
