My eyes fell on a drawing, presumably the one Anna was working on before she got distracted. “Do you like butterflies?”, I asked, picking up the sketchbook.

Marian was instructed to get the key. Felicia saw a sketchbook on the table as Anne was selecting her pencils inside. The first page featured a stunning woman with long hair standing in a field of flowers while donning a white dress and a hat. However, her expression was expressionless. Felicia looked at the sketch. "Who's this, Anne?" Anne approached with a paintbrush. "That's my mother." Felicia's heart contorted. She made an effort to speak steadily. "Why didn't you sketch her face?"

“I love the matching grey. Seriously, Annie, you did it again! This is like witchcraft! I can’t imagine pairing hot pink with grey!” “I was beginning to worry when you said ‘hot pink and grey’. But then you showed the pictures and—my god—they looked gorgeous!” B.A.D’s Vice President was clapping too. The sun rose sluggishly, its soft golden light bathing the makeshift classroom in warmth, as if reluctant to disturb the peace. The children were already waiting, some eager, others simply present because of their loyalty to Red. One girl, small and wide-eyed, raised her hand, her innocent curiosity piercing through the silence. "What is a dream, Anne?" she asked, her voice so soft it was almost swallowed by the rustle of leaves.

She admired the colours each one had and how each presented itself with a unique quirk. Noticing one that seemed to have worn off more than the rest she pulled it out of the rack. Flipping it over to see its cover she smiled at the title written in bold letters the words read Greensburrow. It was a children's book about a young boy and girl who arrived at an orphanage together and became good friends. The girl, Anna was an adventurous soul who would often get herself in trouble but had Eliot, the boy always there to save her.

I am sure I will figure it out soon. “ See. ” Anne pushes her phone’s screen close to my face so I can take a look at the picture. “ Is this him? ” Giana asks hopefully. I shake my head. Anne shows me the next picture and then the next and another one. We see a lot of pictures, but he doesn’t turn out to be anyone of them. “ Are you sure he was an Alpha? I have shown you pictures of all the Alphas already. ” Anne throws the phone aside and lies down on the bed, irritated.

I stopped at a page with a drawing of a middle school girl. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I stared at the drawing. The girl in the sketch couldn't be more than 12 or 13 years old, with a messy ponytail and a sm scattering of freckles across her nose. Her eyes, though – they were the same shade of bright, piercing green as mine, and they sparkled with a mix of mischief and curiosity. She was wearing a faded school uniform, and her smile was wide and carefree.

She had styled it effortlessly, with a few strands framing her heart-shaped face, drawing attention to her striking features. Her eyes were a mesmerizing shade of green, reminiscent of the forest during the peak of spring. They sparkled with an undeniable allure, and as she moved, they seemed to dance like emeralds in the sunlight. Long lashes framed her eyes, adding a touch of mystery and lending her gaze an almost hypnotic quality. Annie's makeup was subtle yet enhancing, with a soft touch of green eyeshadow that complemented her eyes and brought out their enchanting color even more. Her lips were adorned with a natural shade, accentuating their natural fullness.

A small, shy smile crept onto her lips. “My pleasure. I will write the description, you can draw,” he muttered and wrote something down on his notebook again. Anna nodded eagerly, relieved that Evan was still willing to work with her. His compliment had left her feeling warm and fuzzy inside, and she was determined to do her part well.
