Tyler’s POV: The hunt was going better than expected. The forest, shrouded in twilight, was eerily silent except for the occasional crackle of leaves beneath our boots and the distant rustle of branches overhead. We had already taken down several animals, their lifeless forms marking a trail deeper into the woods. Yet, there was an unsettling weight in the air, an offbeat silence that I couldn’t ignore. My brothers and I moved in sync, our senses sharp, scanning for our next target.

An incident that hadn't even occurred yet. I couldn't stop looking at her. “I just got an alert from the hunters’ beacon pinpointing this particular location. If we don't leave now…” Vanya stuttered.

The chairman offered and Will cleared his throat. “The situation on the ground has turned dire, many hunters have gone into hiding amongst human communities making it impossible to seek them out without alerting human authorities and exposing ourselves. The attacks executed this morning were planned swiftly and strategically and I fear there’s something we are missing.” Will shook his head, clenching his jaw.

The werewolf raises its claws and desperately reached for my face but I evaded it and took out my knife and pierced it through its heart. I wiped the blood that splattered on my face and raised my head to find Rendall and Quinn. Rendall is owning this hunt by slashing the werewolf’s body mercilessly while Quinn, Quinn is nowhere to be found. “Quinn!” Finally, I saw a movement of Quinn’s bow and arrow behind the tree that is seven feet away from me. With a sigh of relief, I continued chasing another werewolf. It is faster and slimmer than the first one so I have to make sure that my eyes will always follow it.
