Phoebe held onto Cassie's signature photo, and couldn't help but be excited as she saved it in her favorite book. In December, the Christmas atmosphere had started half a month ago, and tomorrow would be Christmas Eve. Looking from the balcony, many shopping malls and parks would emit the joyous feelings of Christmas.

Grayson Pov The first of December has finally arrived. This is the time of year that all of the small children look forward to. It is the same day as when the snow starts to fall. When I woke up this morning, the snow already started to fall. The grounds were already covered in snow. I already heard some of the kids holding a snowball fight outside. Today is also the day that we start decorating the packhouse and all the houses surrounding it. We start with our own houses then move on to the packhouse since the packhouse is the biggest.

This gives me a free 20 minutes space to update something on my blog. ‘Wake up sleepy heads. I mean all of you that slept in the noon, the moon is slowly peeking in for the night and the sun is waving us goodnight. It is a beautiful evening and really cold. Who is counting the countdown before Christmas? Ah just the mention of the festival has my toes curling up in excitement. To be honest maybe it is also because of the date I have got in the evening.

The shining Christmas decorations, and the fairy lights, instantly cheer up everyone and turn on the festive vibe. But some hearts were still grieving.

ANNELISE POV A month had passed so quickly now it was December, and Paris looked like Santa had thrown up on every single street in the most expensive way possible. Everywhere was red, green, gold, glitter, lights, fake snow, giant Christmas trees, wreaths, bows, and enough holiday music to make a person lose their mind. The city was beautiful though. Very beautiful. And somehow, I couldn’t enjoy any of it. I stood in front of my bathroom mirror, staring at my phone screen with my period tracker app opened.

But you just made this worse for both of us. Wait and see. Happy New Year. Make it count. You have ten years, five months, twelve days. I'm counting every single one.
