It could have been worse, Nicky and Teri knew—they could have been forced to share a tent with their eight-year-old brothers instead of with each other. I’m so scared…” A girl’s knees buckled as a result of her trepidation. Her legs finally gave way and she went limp. Gary was flushed as well, and his lips were even trembling in fear. He shoved the girl away and began charging down the mountain. The two remaining girls stood there, helpless and all by themselves. Soon, they saw the arm stick out from the soil, followed by a head. They instantly passed out from the sight of that face covered in blood!

Putting on my big girl pants, I answered, “I am fine, everything is ok.” Everything was definitely not ok but I'm not backing down. I need to do this. After another hour of wandering through the dark forests, she saw the mountain's path far in the distance, and it looked like a pale, unhealthy brown highland, almost dried in each clearing, and unmistakably sick on either side. "Weird, the mountain looks bloody dead and so eerie." Just like in horror movies where the background music will get you to the edge of your seat and bam! Some silly sounds and you end up screaming. "Dammit, this is like a movie."

It was a perfect ending to a perfect day. The following day, we decided to go camping in the mountains. We packed our tents and supplies and began our hike. It was a challenging trek, but the breathtaking views made it all worth it. Tyler and I were in awe of the beauty surrounding us. We set up our campsite near a crystal clear lake and spent the evening roasting marshmallows and telling spooky stories.

Her small voice asked, making my smile widen. "Uh-huh, do you like willow trees?" I responded walking closer. "No," she answered immediately, making my eyebrows quirk up. "It makes scary sounds at night and it's so spooky." She said, wincing at the thought. "Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas isn't spooky," Lucas said, coming to stand beside me, the apple in his hands bitten from all angles. "Right, Willow?" he asked, and I nodded in agreement.

"Well, yes, I'm planning to go hiking up the mountain, Black Claws Mountain, I heard its view is beautiful" He had this strange look on his face, "Well, yes its great and all but be careful of the people living in the mountain, they can be quiet weird, don't know whats up with them though.
