Ivonne's pov The room was filled with towering stacks of books and strange artifacts I didn't recognise, Artifacts like dark curved stones, glass bottles with light that seemed to breathe inside them, coiled metallic ropes on carved wooden stands. Elara had pulled all of it from the deepest stores of the Lycan realm, and now the collection made the room feel both sacred and suffocating at the same time. I sat cross-legged on the mat, eyes closed, sweating through what had to be the most exhausting ritual the Oracle had walked me through yet. By the time she told me to open my eyes, I felt like I had run for miles.

The title was etched in silver: The Royal Grimoire of Sacred Oaths. She opened it, her eyes skimming the ornate calligraphy, the intricate diagrams filled with arcane symbols.

“Hmm…is there anything else?” Either side of the alcove was lined with books, some newer, but most were leather-bound and darkened yellow with age. As she cracked open spine after spine, it became clear that this was her lead. Every single one of the books was covered in strange symbols and arcane-looking diagrams that she couldn’t make heads or tails of. But, thanks to Xavier, she had an idea of its origin. “Eclipse isn’t the only thing Noah’s been studying,” Ava said. “I can’t read any of it, but I’m pretty sure that all of these books are from Axis.”
