Are The Vampire Diaries Books Good Novels & Stories

"Well obviously, you walk around in daylight thought I'm not exactly sure how. Is it lapis lazuli or something else? I really want to know the veracity of vampirism." "Well what books have you been reading, and I can tell you if any of them have truths, I mean garlic is a major fallacy. I love garlic but too much is bad for anyone." Thoughts were running through my head I don't even think I can name the hundreds of vampire books I've read. "There are too many to name if you saw my books you'd understand, they are the only things not moving to school with me, there are just too many."

This was not exactly my forte, and my wolf was growing overwhelmed by every passing second. Because my way of handling things was always by violence. Not this. Not books. Yet, with Dylan—I knew that I needed to proceed with caution, or it was going to end with fatality—from my end. With a sigh, I headed toward the first shelf and began to search for anything with vampires in the title. “If they can mention them, they should write about killing them too,” I muttered as I pulled out large volumes of books from the shelves. Since my mother was one of them, I wasn’t even surprised that my father had allowed and kept such a large amount of books on vampires.

“Vampires? Are you fucking serious right now?” “Never mind,” I said quickly, heat flooding my face. “Forget I asked.” “No, no, hold on.” Jeff was still grinning, wiping his eyes. “You want to know if I’ve seen vampires? Yeah, man. I’ve seen a whole fucking lot of them.” My blood turned to ice. “What?” “In Vampire Diaries,” he said, completely oblivious to the mini heart attack he’d just given me. “Damon Salvatore? Stefan? You seriously need to watch better TV, dude. That show’s fucking gold.”

Majority of the vampires agreed and their angry yells of ‘yes’ could be heard. “Two weeks ago, I journeyed to Athens to relay the good news to the Elders, about the Blackburn being alive, but I was disappointed to know that it is no news to them because they knew all this while,” Aamon’s expression darkened now. “The Elders have been keeping things from us for too long. They can never be trusted anymore. I decided to act on my own and with Kyle, I was able to get the witch to speak yesterday. There is a sacred book written by the Fathers of the early church after the time of the witch trials. It talks about a prophecy that will bring an end to our immortality.”

He might kick me out and I would just die. “This is amazing,” I managed to whisper, still breathless at the sight. “You like it?” “Like it?” My amazement hung in my voice, and I spun on my heels to face Dante, who was leaning at the door. “Are you kidding me? I am in love with it. It’s like heaven on earth.” The corner of Dante’s lips twitched. “The best part is that more than half of the books are horror, thriller and paranormal.” “No fricken way!” My jaw dropped, and I held back the girlie squeal that hung in my throat. And I thought this place couldn’t get any better.

And strangely… instead of feeling curtailed by that truth, I felt emboldened. One particular book we’d found changed everything. It confirmed something the Lycan King had once said—that there were “good ones” among that evil species. Except… it wasn’t exactly as he’d made it sound. The book claimed that vampires weren’t born evil. They began as something else—something purer. They were called The Ancients.

Meanwhile, I sat inside the library of the Winter Garden, turning the entire place upside down to get information on vampires. “Strange.” I mumbled as I looked through the book titles. There weren’t many books or detailed information on vampires. It was all the basics, like how to kill a vampire with a wooden stake and all. Nothing that I didn’t know. I sighed as I flipped through the last book and threw it. Why was there not much information about the biggest rivals of wolves? I massaged my temple with my two fingers when my tired gaze fell on the open book that I had thrown across the room out of frustration.
