An Unwanted Fate

An Unwanted Fate

Ryan’s POV “For the Goddess damn last time, It’s not a waste of resources. It’s necessary!” Alpha Calvin of Opal Moon was steadfastly arguing in favor of security camera installation in unclaimed forest areas to gather intel on rogue activity to be shared amongst the allied packs. A few of the other Alphas agreed with him while others felt the threat they posed was not sufficient to warrant the cost of such an undertaking.

love the fact the author helps the readers feel all those emotions we feel in relationships from the happiest to the most self loathing, but gives you that hope that of course love will conquer, even when we don't feel we deserve it!

the story is so human. focusing on emotions. the people are highly emotional beings especially Kat and Reegan and so they make so many mistakes that seems idiotic. though the dealing with emotions could be better. This story is captivating and steamy and I just couldn't put it down

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

TEMPTING THE DEFENDER

He flipped the latches, revealing a thermal imaging array and a drone kit that looked more like military hardware than civilian tech. "The Board is using a new satellite network," Dante said, his fingers dancing over a keypad with terrifying speed. "They call it *Argus*. It can see the heat signature of a cigarette from three hundred miles up. If I go back with you, I can blind them. But it won't be enough." "What else?" "They’ve hired the *Sombra*," Dante said, looking up, his milky eyes full of a sudden, sharp dread. "The Spanish mercenaries. They don't use teams. They use attrition. They’ll burn the valley until there’s nothing left to defend."

BLAIR

BLAIR

She wore a white dress as per the empress’s attire in San Coro and a snake shaped crown on her head. “Knights and soldiers have been dispatched to face the ground. They are holding ground for now. We are not sure what the enemy will do.” Argus said with his arms crossed. Argus was a lion beastman. His entire body was covered in brown slightly reddish fur. His mane, that could also be considered as his hair, covered his head and neck. He wore an attire similar to Alfredo’s but was dark green in colour and it also had many badges. His eyes were light blue that contrasted his fur.

Luna Lisa: The Tale Of The Cursed Wolf

Luna Lisa: The Tale Of The Cursed Wolf

“How much power she carries. She is a Luna, even among Lunas. The peak of werewolves. She is destined to bring ruin to every pack in existence.” “What are you talking about, Lena?” Japheth asked, visibly shaken. “What does that even mean?” “The Argus Panoptes,” Lena replied coldly, “is a creature that once served Hera. A being of countless eyes,an all-seeing guardian who guided her every move. Its power was so immense that it threatened even Zeus’s authority.” She paused. “And so Hermes killed it.” Lena’s voice darkened. “But Argus Panoptes did not forgive. It believes the supernatural world stood by and allowed its murder. That

Olympus

Olympus

Well, all but one. Thing is, on the wall just a little adjacent to the right side of the table was the largest monitor Megan had ever seen; like it was the combination of three of the world's largest monitors mounted on the glass wall without any strain to it. On its display was the map of the world; every continent, country, and region marked with an algorithmic assessment of different threat levels in numbers in relations to the various current events occurring in them in real-time. Now, that was Dennis Ahmad, Director of Olympus, she thought. The monitor showed the extent of his true power; and she couldn't help but be awed by it for a few seconds.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

"It's too open. It's a kill box." "It's a Class-A secure facility," Finch said, his voice echoing as he tapped a command into his wrist-comp. The old butler looked gray, his immaculate suit ruined, but his mind was still sharp. "They don't need guards, Master Jack. The building itself is the weapon. This facility is managed by 'Argus,' a localized shard of the Council’s central tactical AI. It doesn't sleep. It doesn't blink. And right now..." Finch paused, looking at a wall panel that was glowing with a soft, benign blue. "It's watching us."

Unholy Matrimony

"Mrs. Grimaldi." "Jones," I acknowledge, leaning back in my chair. "Let’s see the grid." Jones connects his device to the main screen, overriding my zoning map. A complex web of blue lines and red sensor zones appears, overlaying the blueprints of the dockyards. "We’ve finalized the camera placement," Jones begins, launching into his pitch. "We’re using the new Aegis-9 system. High-definition facial recognition, license plate tracking, and integrated AI behavioral analysis. It predicts a breach before it happens based on body language."

Global. "It's facial recognition software," Miguel explained. "But not like anything that exists now. Argus can identify anyone, anywhere, in real-time. It connects to every camera system, traffic cams, security cameras, and even private doorbell cameras that people don't know are compromised. Feed it a photo, and it'll track that person across the entire world." "That's impossible," Adrien said.

ESSENCE: Desire Without Permission — My Rivals, My Red Flags

ESSENCE: Desire Without Permission — My Rivals, My Red Flags

Suddenly, it snapped into focus, displaying an image—not of a diagram, but of Arga himself, seen from the perspective of a security lens directly behind his head. "Okay, you have access to the hidden internal cameras. Cute," Arga sneered, never moving his gaze from the hallway entrance. He knew the parasite didn't understand the ‘Why.’ It understood ‘What’ and ‘How.’ If he kept his intent fluid—if he didn't fixate on a specific path—it would keep guessing wrong.
