“I hate it when my party gets ruined halfway through,” he said, lighting his cigar.
Ronan called out, “Showing up in style, as always, Raf.”
Rafael burst out laughing. “Well, I don’t have Jacob’s sneaking skills or Calvin’s soft hair.”
Calvin’s voice came through our earpieces. “Careful, sweethearts. Two heading toward the right wing. They’re carrying small detonators. Signal codes match those used by former Russian mercs. Not saying who used to have those contacts… but big capital ‘P’.”
