It was some minutes past 6pm. Caitlyn Hugh was dragging her tired feet back home after a long day at work. As she walked along the lonely road, she looked back at intervals, hoping for a cab to appear. Although she was very much aware that cabs do not ply that road, Caitlyn prayed for a miracle. She took out her phone from the small bag she hung on her shoulder and connected her headset to the device. She was going to click play on her favourite music, but the sound of a car honking halted her.

And Jalen, sweet, brooding Jalen, looked torn between shock and betrayal. “AT,” Jalen repeated slowly. His voice cracked just a touch. “Wait… Patrick, you called her Aria....AT. Ms. Childs… what is AT short for? Aria… what?” I locked eyes with her, steady, unshaken. “Tonae. Aria Tonae Childs. My middle name.” Gasps. Frowns. Silence. Big Tuck broke it first. “So… Amara is your sister?” I smiled, letting the truth land heavy. “Yes.”

Now that she sorted everything out with Taylor, she can now rest easy. Taylor is such a hardworking boss. He personally handles all the difficult scandals of his top artists. Now, he's trying to settle two. Aria and Zacharias are top artists with a massive amount of fame and fans. They're one of the most precious artists of GEM Entertainment. So being involved in a dating scandal is a tricky situation for Taylor. Especially after seeing the evidence that Phyllis showed him. Aria was clearly trapping Zacharias with this rumor. And the fact that they're in the same company made the rumors look credible.

, she threatened, plastering a sweet smile on her face. “Of course you will”, Kate said, matching her smile, leaning forward. “Not going to happen. He’s mine and I don’t share”. “Hmm”, Ariana nodded, standing back up. “I hate to say it but it was nice meeting you Taylor”. “I’d be lying if I said same here”, Kate shrugged. Ariana rolled her eyes, “You’re both the same”. Already heading for the exit. “Bye b*tch”, she winked at Kate, before leaving.

89 Ariel's POV I dressed in a black baggy top and jeans trousers. I immediately went to work because I don't want to be late for my second day at work. I don't want to look irresponsible. I was surprised that I met Taylor and another chubby guy at work. I checked the time. It was just seven o'clock in the morning. "Good morning, sweetheart." Taylor greeted. "Good morning." I greeted and dropped my bag in the locker in the changing room. I Saw Taylor changing into her uniform. It was then I learned that the uniform was too short. It leaves little to no imagination.

I pause taking a tissue from Kate to wipe my nose. Kate waits before I continue, “He grabs my arm and pulls me off the dancefloor. He has another woman attached to his other side,” at this Kate sits up a little taller. “Who the hell was she?” Kate asks. “She would be his fiancée and future Luna. The Luna ceremony is schedule in two weeks,” I say starting to cry.

SERENA Taylor’s the type of girl that’s so outgoing and over-the-top nice that it almost seems disingenuous- because nobody’s that sugar sweet, right? Wrong. The more I talk to Taylor, the more I realize that this isn’t a front; it’s really who she is. And I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little jealous. I wish I could be more like her. Maybe I could’ve been, if life hadn’t stomped all over me. If I hadn’t seen what I’ve seen and done what I’ve done.

It seems like Arthur and Jensen are having a silent battle by doing a staring contest while I am in between them while looking at them back and forth. "Hi, I am Taylor Yara Jenkins. I am a lawyer." Taylor suddenly butted in, which made their attention turn to her. I also noticed that both she and Ysabelle were already standing beside Arthur. This broke the weird atmosphere that we had earlier, which somehow put me at ease. I really can’t comprehend why that atmosphere even exists in the first place. Jensen just nodded at her and turned his attention to Ysabelle. This made Ysabelle smile and mumble, "Ysabelle Aria Sanchez, I am a fashion designer."

If only it had been as easy for her to move on too. Her life had become rich with friends—real friends. Their meal with Greg and Aria the previous night had brought home to her how wonderful it was to have true friends. Aria’s friendship had been foisted upon her when she and Taylor had first gotten together. Originally a receptionist for Greg’s world-famous plastic-surgery practice, Aria was now the epitome of a high-society goddess, with a perfectly straight nose, sculpted cheekbones, and inflated breasts. All of the other ‘friends’ Dianne had made in their time together had been of an identical mould.
