The cryo-tubes and tethers anchoring me to the capsule automatically release themselves and retract into the monitor. My brain is hammering against my skull. Is this part of the rejuvenation process? The lid of the capsule automatically lifts. Clumsily, I stand. Biometric alarms echo throughout the compartment. My companions, Judah and Peter, are missing from their pods. I can see the automatic rehabilitation machine moving along its tracks towards Beth’s capsule. Nothing can be achieved by waiting for Beth to be revived, so I stumble towards the hatch separating the cryonic area from the bridge and press the auto control.

“I'm Sebastian Whittaker, Max's cousin.” Ariadne didn’t respond or smile, making it clear she felt no need to hide her disinterest in Maximilian’s relatives. Setting her spoon down, she said, “I think I’m full. I’ll go get some fresh air.” Without waiting for a reply, she left the room. Ariadne wandered through the estate, determined to escape the stifling atmosphere inside. “This is revolting. I can’t stand any of them,” she muttered, only to feel her irritation spike as Andymon and Patrick appeared, following her closely.

Zara Dr. Meyers beams immediately she sees me and offers me a seat. “ Zara! I wasn’t expecting you today but it’s so good to see you” She looks at the Stony- gazed man beside me , “ you came with your husband too. I followed behind them and walked into larger room, six times my size of room. A large portrait of the Alpha and a man and a woman behind him hung up in the wall. It grabbed my attention the moment I walked in. Everything about the room looked sophisticated. Obsidian carvings, an artwork that added life to the room, the floor was marbled, but somehow I could see my reflection almost clearly. The furnitures in the room and the private balcony stashed with vintage wines.

Hades smiled. Alaric was so vexed that he started hyperventilating. “You-you dare not touch her. You dare not!” “Oh, we will. Adam does notice that both of them wore the same black teardrop necklace with its stone shining rather brightly when in contact with lights.
