"The drainage ducts are tight, Leo," Aria warned, her hand resting firmly on the hilt of her silver combat blade as she reached the mouth of the hatch. "They’re less than five feet wide, carved into the old industrial bedrock to drain the chemical runoff toward the coastal marshes. There's no room for tactical spacing down there. If they've left deep-cover scouts waiting in the corners, we'll be stepping straight into a blind crossfire."
Leo dropped from the upper gantry, his heavy boots striking the concrete beside her wit
