I place my hand on her back, trying to soothe her. "It hurts." She mumbles in between sobs. I move some of the hair from her face and can feel that she's running warmer than usual. She looks up at me, and her eyes are glowing purple. I take in a sharp breath, not expecting her to be showing any signs of her powers developing, but I give her a small, reassuring smile.

He narrowly escaped capture countless times—until the day he caught my scent and found his way to my father. Asher is unique. He has one pale blue eye like mine and one storm-grey eye like Leo’s. From a distance, the contrast is subtle, but when you catch it—it's striking. His dark hair has a few lazy curls, and his dimpled smile paired with that mischievous glint in his eye commands attention. Which he loves being the eldest. Any chance to boss about his siblings makes him smile.

I opened my eyes to curse at him but quickly noticed the way the blue of his eyes dimmed to a dark scarlet color. I had only ever seen a vampire's eyes get like that when they intended to feed. He moved in closer and grabbed my chin and stared at me. I could see the dark green swirls in his eyes and the familiar copper flecks that Asher had. He stared for a moment and then grinned.

IVY’S POV “I love you too” I whisper while staring into Asher’s eyes. There is this tingling sensation thag sparks in my heart and trust me, it is extraordinary. I can’t really explain how I feel right now.y gaze remains stern but loving. Asher shifts his hand from my chin and slowly drops on my lips. Adrian screamed and pushed me away. I staggered.and stared at his angry face. His eyes were boiling with rage and it felt as though he wanted to rip me apart.

However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.
