Humans don’t have wings! I looked up at his face again, and I gasped. The color of his eyes had changed completely. They weren't the same dull, coal-black eyes I had seen every time he stared at me in school or at the canteen. No… these eyes were bright, burning with a fierce, intense color—hazel brown, deep and rich, but filled with something terrifying. There was pure anger drawn within them, blazing like fire.

A territorial urge welled up within my chest and the little hairs on the back of my neck rose as I got to my feet. "Back off, Eve," Elias warned. Xander sat back in his chair, folding his arms across his chest as a self-satisfied smirk spread across his lips. But Eve never took her eyes from mine and then growled, low, barely audible. Something inside of me welled up within my chest, and then I felt my eyes flare. "There it is!" Eve smiled, pointing at me as a smile lit her lips. "Xander, did you see it?" Xander nodded, looking into my eyes. "Sweetheart, you're part wolf. How big a part, I have no idea, but you have enough."

Thyra let out a gasp when she noticed the dangerous red eyes that stared at her as if he could see through her. She could dictate the anger from the expression of the man. But what did she do to receive such a deadly stare? Wait! Red eyes! Thyra internally screamed as the realization hit her. The man she had been admiring was an Alpha. They were the only ones among werewolves with that eye color. At least that was what she knew from the research and discoveries she had made.

Arlo gets off the couch, finally, and comes and sits between us and looks up at both of us with the one white ear and the amber eyes and the complete confidence of a dog who considers himself central to all important decisions. He is not wrong.

The Ruby eye color signifies Alphas entering their wolf state and it depicts anger. I was a little bit relieved to see their murderous glare fade off but it scared me more to see their faces were blank as a sheet of paper. I'm fazed to realize how beautiful both of them have grown to be, their looks outshine all other werewolves present, both men and women. They stood like perfection itself. He pulled his tongue out and asked me, "Why are you doing this?" I was startled by his questions, which brought me back to the present, and I looked into his eyes. His eyes were bright with the joy and excitement that filled his heart. I liked how straightforward it was to understand how werewolves were feeling. Evan sighs. He looks back to the boy, the boy seemed to spot him and looked over to his position. Evan slams his back into the car’s seat, heavily breathing.

Our blue eyes were another unusual feature. All wolves either had green, brown, or hazel eyes. But my eyes were as bright as the sky, and often I lied about the green that wasn't there. If any of these warriors spoke of my wolf, I'm sure there would be problems. The Grand Alpha was still wanted; most wanted to kill him over his strength. I never understood the reasons.

Vix stood up and walked beside Shina towards the door. She stopped short a few steps and watched as he went to open it. Standing outside were two men just a bit smaller than Vix was. One was kind of pale but still darker than Shina was and the other one had sun kissed skin like Vix. The pale one stepped up he had blue eyes and dark hair. His eyes seemed to kind of shimmer and he stepped right up to Shina and reached his hand out. Shina reacted immediately and took his hand but he used it to pull her into a hug. "Avery, your eyes—" Mike wanted to say, "Your eyes are better now and you can just video call Wesley to see their baby," but as soon as those words were out, he realized he had let it slip and started coughing. "What's wrong with Avery's eyes?" Jun caught on immediately. Mike cleared his throat and said, "She had an eye infection and the doctor told her to stay off her phone, so it's been a while since she looked at her phone."
