Fighting Fate

Fighting Fate

Regret that the person your soul and wolf is bound to forever is not the right kind of person for you. People forget that Fate doesn’t plan for everyone to have a happy ever after. Fate is not a fairy godmother granting wishes. Some people have to suffer to make the greater plans of the world move. You can’t make everyone happy. So some people, like my poor sister Pen, must be mated to the sadistic bullies of the world because Fate has a higher plan than her daily life.

Another great story written by Alle! I really enjoyed the characters conversing with the reader, it was a really neat perspective that I’ve never read before now! This book has it all- love, humor, excitement, danger, heartbreak, and healing … all bundled up nicely with a bow. READ IT!

I have read this twice now and absolutely love it! Rocco's character is nothing short of spectacular. I just adore him. I am also slightly obsessessed with the way the characters talk to the reader in this book! Highly recommend this book, as well as all of Alle's books!

Leanunya countered, not budging an inch. Wolferan sighed, before speaking, “I am asking as it will give me a better understanding of why you chose to become an assassin, a criminal” Leanunya huffed, “alright you want to know? Stolen Fate

Stolen Fate

He paused, then looked at me. "If you want, I can alter its structure. Break the connection. I can even make it backfire on the person who cast it." So that was how it was… No wonder she became some so-called 'lucky streamer.' She was not lucky. She was burning through my luck, stealing my life. "How much?" I asked without hesitation. "I don't charge," he replied, calm and firm. "Stopping things like this is a good enough reason." I froze for a second, then immediately handed him the paper.

But the assassin's weapon was wavering, her tactical focus momentarily broken by the flood of new, contradictory information. The assassin's head tilted, assessing the information. With a curse of frustration, the assassin turned on her heel. "If this is a lie, Xavier, I will be back for you both." In a final, terrifying move, she detonated a small smoke canister, plunging the room into darkness. When the smoke cleared, she was gone, leaving only the shattered wall and the ringing silence. Xavier was at Alessia's side in an instant, pulling her into his massive, shaking embrace.

Claiming The Alpha

Claiming The Alpha

My exhaustion was slowly setting in so I could not go that deeply but it was enough to keep him from moving too far without losing too much blood. “Bitch,” he spat at me, clutching his neck. We were both at our ends so it was now a war of attrition. My fire that was helping me burn up the poison spreading through my veins was slowly dying out. The assassin pulled out a final set of blades. “I suppose it will be an honour to be killed by the Moon Blessed.” “Stop trying to make this sound like a duel.” My body was now dragging from exhaustion so he should have won our last bout if Lillian had not reappeared and stabbed him from behind.

The Assassin's Obsession

I dropped my mug next to the clean ones and turned to face him. Just as I put my hands on my hip, wanting to ask him if everything was okay, he took one last sip of his coffee, slammed the mug on the counter, muttered, "Good day, Kayla." Then he walked out through the back door, leaving me breathless and gobsmacked. "Good day to you too, asshole." I muttered under breath as he slammed the back door. ~~~~~ Restless energy and annoyance caused by Gabriel's attitude yesterday and today pushed me to take a walk alone.
