When she left the dorms, Azeph was waiting for her at the entrance, with his charming smile. After spending fifteen minutes in the dining room with the heavy atmosphere and eyes on her, she almost wanted to skip breakfast altogether. But she had a statement to make and her attendance made that statement clear. Although seeing Azeph's smiling face right afterward was like her reward for hanging there for that tedious breakfast. "Good morning, I see we have matching uniforms," He said cheerfully and Elin smiled, "Yeah. Is it unusual for colors to match between students?" She asked "It's not unusual for the Candidate class members. Other students have a uniform color for gentlemen and ladies,"

I walk through the hallways with my hands tucked deep in the pockets of my hoodie. The other students shove past me, throwing me disgusted looks and nasty glares. It used to make me want to crawl in a hole and die, but now, I hardly notice it at all. All of the students have special uniforms that are backless to accommodate their wings—well, all except me. If those idiots knew how to put their wings away then they’d be able to have a more diverse wardrobe.

We were dressed identically in the academy’s ceremonial championship uniform: crisp, tailored white blazers with the school’s intricate gold crest embroidered over the heart, paired with sharp, navy blue tailored pants and polished black leather oxfords. Beside me, my close friend Tariq adjusted his silk tie, his breathing shallow and rapid as he stared up at the monolithic glass dome of the arena. Thousands of international spectators were filtering through the turnstiles, and hundreds of flags representing the top nations in global academia were fluttering wildly in the northern wind.

And the rope. * * * Niku Sakurajima A good girl submits. Those words have been running through my shameful mind the entire time. I undid the buttons one by one of my blouses. It was white with my old school's coat of arms over my heart. Part of my school uniform. They didn't wear one here in the States to college, but I found it comforting.

She pops some aspirin into our hands, “Take that and you'll feel better before you know it. Don't forget, fifteen minutes!” She hustles us back up the stairs while Kendrick grumbles, “I can't take a bath plus finish my makeup in just fifteen minutes.” “It's all about time management, Ken.” She replies. Mallory groans, “This is savage, Aunt Sher.” which earns her a slap on her bum, “Ow!” “Go on into your rooms and refresh up, I want to see how your uniforms look before I’m whisked off to work.” Twenty-two minutes later, we're in our crisp white shirts with an eagle crest indicating the prestigious institution of Sabbel High Academy etched on the top left breast of the shirt, brown pleated thi

“Did you sleep?” “Barely,” Mia admitted. “Those dreams won’t stop.” Anna nodded, knowing exactly what she meant. “Logan and Ryan are probably already downstairs. We should hurry.” The girls dressed quickly, pulling on their uniforms—dark tunics with silver embroidery, each bearing the school’s crest: a mirror encircled by seven stars. The uniform was plain yet elegant, a reflection of the institution’s mysterious nature. ***********

My son. I step away from his room and move down the hallway to Tana’s room. I can smell Cedric’s spring rainstorm scent mixed with Tana’s campfire scent. I walk into the room and go to the closet. She and I are a similar size, so her clothes fit me well enough, however, my feet are smaller than hers. I go to Kenna’s room and find a pair of shoes that will work for me. Because I can’t help myself, I find a black hoodie in Ishir’s closet and pull it over me, surrounding myself in his scent and calming my nerves immediately.

“Ah, dear niece, so this is what an average day in the life looks like… waltzing with your kill and staring right into their eyes right before you snuff the light out of it… brilliant!” It was obvious he wanted a reaction out of her, and on a very good day, he would have gotten nothing, but today wasn’t exactly going as planned for the plus-sized assassin. Barbara moved with a speed that would have stunned the girl she used to be. In one fluid motion, she was behind him. She didn't bother shedding the server's jacket; she simply reached beneath it. The cold steel of a ceramic knife was pressed firmly against the pulse point of his neck before he could say another word.

For boys the uniform consisted of white buttoned shirt and dark blue pants, along dark blue coat and the same tie as the girls. "Oh come on, look at yourself in the mirror. Your figure is just like that of a....what do we say to that thing with two bulbs upside down, sand flowing from one part into another one, one that is used to measure time?" Eleanor murmered most of the part to herself.

Leanunya had taught him to always go for the kill or any opening to wear his opponent down. Leanunya had taken him out of the forbidden forest a few times to go to a nearby town for clothes. After a few times they had run into bandits and Nagos had to kill them to live. The first time he killed a person he had thrown up and got the shakes. He barely managed to pull himself together after that. He had seen Leanunya give him a condescending look when she saw his reaction to killing for the first time. He didn’t really understand why she gave him that look but knew she wasn’t pleased with him.
