The Alpha’s claimed mate

The Alpha’s claimed mate

I refused to let her see my fear. I took a deep breath, drawing from the power inside me. I wasn’t just Kael’s mate. I wasn’t just some human caught in a game of power. I was Astrid—daughter of Lira, a woman who had fought and survived, who had known the darkness and stood against it. And I would do the same. The wind around us picked up again, the air crackling with energy, as the final battle began to unfold. We were outnumbered, outmatched in some ways. But I had something they didn’t—something Lavinia would never understand.

Written by the moon

Written by the moon

Kaidën was nowhere to be found and to me he's the only reason I attend dreadful events like this. Xylara's mood seemed to be off as well. She was trying her best to maintain her good girl image talking to everyone with elegance and respect, I would've left everyone cursing at me if I was in her place. Just as I was starting to think that I couldn't take it anymore, one of the elder pack members approached me. "Astrid, we need your help with something," she said, her voice firm but polite. "One of the younger wolves has gotten into a bit of trouble, and we need someone to help calm them down."

The Forgotten - Book One of the Chronicles of Faynon

The Forgotten - Book One of the Chronicles of Faynon

Sigwulf was still cracking a grin as Redswift released Astrid. “So,” Sigwulf began as he pinched the bridge of his nose. “Let me get this straight. First you are raised as a thief where you see death, murder and other such things daily. Then you are nearly killed by Cull as he tries to sell you into a lifetime of slavery to some grossly fat and incredibly ugly gentleman after first stripping you naked in front of hundreds of strangers.” He lowered his hand and folded his arms across his chest, looking at her again. “You then follow Kalash worshippers, all whom want you dead I might add, to their meeting where you hear of a plot to not only capture you, but sacrifice you and your friends

The Luna's Walk of Shame

The Luna's Walk of Shame

Astrid I leaned forward in my chair, hands clenched in a tight fist. I watched Soren go back and forth with Valency, who was quiet. I had been holding myself back from lurching forward and snapping her neck. She had refused to say a word about what she knew about the frostborn. It had been frustrating, given that she was the only one who could tell us something about them. Yet, she had been adamant. The only sound that came out of her mouth was cries.

she says. "Come up, Ashrac, and I shall hold you in front of me." "No way. I want to fly." I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it. He runs three steps and launches himself up. Wings appear and the next thing I see is a small dragon flying up to the top of the tower. I almost lose my seat. "Fly swiftly, Ashrac. Your uncle will not be happy. Hold on, Bride of Laryn, and I will get you to my castle safely."

The Wolf’s Bride

The Wolf’s Bride

Andrius stood at the eye of the storm, completely unharmed. After the Tempest Sweep raged, Andrius had not moved an inch nor had he taken any damage from the hydra’s attack. “You have two more moves.” Andrius grinned confidently. However, to the hydra, his confidence was nothing more than blatant mockery. “Ahhh!” the hydra roared, its nine heads shaking in unison. In an instant, an apocalyptic storm began to form. “Gasp! It’s that move—Oblivion Storm!”

Fairy-Struck

I'd be left alone; without stars in my eyes or fairy knights by my side. We exited the stairwell, out onto the second floor, and the men remained. I reached a hand up and pulled forward the purple streak in my hair. It was all still there; it hadn't been a dream. I sighed in relief and then blinked in shock; I was glad to be this new me. Seren Bloodthorn Sloane, Fairy Princess of the Twilight Court. Damn, but I wanted this, I actually wanted this. What would that mean to my human father and what would it mean for my future?

Asterion

Asterion

She screamed when she saw me and this time I covered my ears she was so loud. “Knock it the fuck off!” I bellowed. My bellowing startled her. Her eyes widened, and she blinked slowly at me as her mouth fell open in shock. “Yes, the monster speaks and has sensitive hearing. It also has a name. It’s Asterion, by the way.” I said, stalking forward to sit at the table. She flinched as if I was stalking towards her. I’m not sure if she was more surprised when I spoke or that I had no intentions of touching her.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Alpha Victor

Alpha Victor

She allowed that sentence to trail and started a new thought directly after, "you and he need to talk. I'll leave." Tania ambled into the room once Saint left, dismissing her wings a dropping herself onto the sofa with a manic grin on her face, "Someone's made an exchange with a witch," she sang and it drifted off into a deranged kind of laugh as she stroked her swollen stomach—she and Sylvain were expecting their first pup, a hybrid. I raised a brow in question at her but she waved a hand and clucked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, "don't bother trying to hide it. I can practically taste the magic on you. It's still fresh."

I think for now, Victor’s book is my favourite. I love the simplicity of the situation that is quite complex but down to earth. I can’t wait to know what will happen with Sydney as well. I guess they’ll meet at some point. I’m happy Victor is putting himself and his needs first. Finally!
Caribbean Princess
The storyline thus far have been outstanding, except for the fact that this book is INCOMPLETE with no UPDATE in sight. This author even had the time to advertised another UPCOMING series which has 2 COMPLETED books but the LAST and most needed damned book of this series isn't done, the nerve.
