"Henley, thank goodness for you. Otherwise—"
"Get out!" Henley barked.
Addison stumbled back, crashing to the floor, her head hitting the wall. Dazed, she took a moment to regain her bearings.
Henley's gaze was cold, distant—like he was looking at a stranger, or worse, a dead person.
A chill rushed down Addison's spine, but she couldn't bring herself to move.
