His heart screamed with joy. The End

They walked away together and never once looked back. The flames surged and climbed higher and higher… A burning beam came crashing down on Yvonne. She spat out a mouthful of blood. In the next moment, the flames swallowed her whole. That hopeless life of hers ended right there.

Perhaps, because I had finally let go, my spirit began to fade. In the end, under the sunlight, I dissolved into countless shimmering fragments. If there was a next life, I wanted to be like a sunflower, radiant and free from worries.
