Athena And Poseidon Novels & Stories

I say "I know you have a daughter of Poseidon, a son of Athena, and a son of Ares in your group, so for the battle they will be temporarily under my command, plus one of my guards is a daughter of Gaia, which is almost as rare as a child of nyx so I'll have her join the battle as well" I say "Yes, Your Majesty," they all say "We've been training the soldiers extra hard the last couple of days, and I have been coming up with a battle plan," says General Oris

I sighed, rubbing a hand over my face. He cocked his head, looking at me strangely. “What?” I asked. “Why did you say it like that? You put Poseidon above Zeus. No one does that. Zeus is the King of the Gods. He is placed above all.” he explained. “I exist because of Poseidon. He is the one that gifted the bull who would sire me to Minos. He is the one that cursed my mother with lust for the bull after Minos angered him. So it is the God of the Sea who set into motion my creation.” I explained.

But later, when Themis, the ancient Titaness and goddess of Justice, said: "Lord of the Sea, heed my words. Thetis's offspring shall be born greater than his sire, and Thetis shall indeed bear a son." After it was prophesied so, the gods were fearful, knowing Thetis was destined to bear a son who would be mightier than his father. They were reminded of the old prophesy passing down from their father Cronus, and the two gods gave the maiden up to another mortal king, whom she bore a son named Achilles. Poseidon decided to try elsewhere. He chose another Nereid named Amphitrite. Together they ruled the underwater kingdom, lavishing in its immense wealth and mysteries.

he drawled calmly. "That was Poseidon, god of the seas. Everyone knows that he is a jolly good fellow, always partying and dining but is very greedy with his treasures. But Hades, is sensitive, depressed, and irritable. Very short-tempered and quick to lash out," she countered. "There were other gods besides Poseidon," he said frowning at her obvious neglect of his accomplishments. "Yes, I know, there was Aeolus, god of the wind. Demeter, goddess of the harvest and seasons. Apollos, god of light, prophecy, healing, and plague," she listed them out.

She coughed a few times. A bottle of water stuck to the side of her cheek. Ruby turned around. An elegant woman wearing only a blue cloth smiled kindly. Amphitrítē. She is the sea goddess, the queen of the sea, and her consort is Poseidon. "Are you looking for answers?" she asked softly. A far cry from the harsh seas of Poseidon incarnate. Amphitrítē inherited the peaceful nature of the water. She looks like a beautiful seascape. Yet still inscribed with the resilience to sail the high seas.

Reinlief reasoned. The dwarf was right. Posiedon and Hades were as powerful as Zeus, and even Zeus would struggle to take on both of them at once. They were skilled warriors who shared the bloodline of their father Chronos, and they were difficult to kill. Even if Zeus was aware of Atlas's state, Poseidon and Hades weren't. The two were famous for their hatred for the Titans, and neither was on Olympus now because they were hunting the Titans that had managed to escape that bloody war. They were the reason why Atlas still hid, and if they found out that he was still alive, they would come for him!

He looked like he was having a hard time reminiscing about its history. Aphrodite came to the rescue, "Right! Most of us have been friends since then. We grew up in slums, doing different jobs in order to survive and fulfill the needs of our rumbling stomachs. Me, being the face of cybersex, Dionysus... who used to rob the general's main house, Hermes and Ares as the known thieves in town, and then there's Zeus who abducted people for ransom... Athena who was once a stripper, Apollo as a drug addict..." My widening eyes went to Apollo. He smiled as he waved at me. "And Poseidon... the sex slave." What...

She beamed proudly. All the young women talked to Damen for what seemed like an eternity. Then there were Oceanides. "Their name has the ocean in it but they have nothing to do with the seas unless we have parties of course; they are the nymphs of freshwater; daughters of Oceanus and Tethys." "Is Poseidon going to be here? "Nah, he only attends major religious festivals and is busy the rest of the time. Pontus and Thalassa are barely here as well."

, she started. “Wait, what are Nerids”, she asked mispronouncing the word completely. “Nereids”, Fiona corrected, “Nereids are particularly associated with the Aegean Sea, where they dwelt with their father Nereus in the depths within a golden palace. The most notable of them are Thetis, wife of Peleus and mother of Achilles; Amphitrite, wife of Poseidon and mother of Triton; and Galatea, the vain love interest of the Cyclops Polyphemus”, she listed, “Though that really isn’t important, I only know about it because Edwards made me study about them when he wanted help in how to woo her”, she grumbled a tad fondly. “Anyway, according to Greek Mythology, Cetus or The Leviathan is a sea monster;

Athena was accountable for the transformation of Medusa into a Gorgon demonstrates, and her feel of justice was once such that acts of impiety have been rapidly avenged, as with the Archaean heroes following their capture of Troy and desecration of the goddess' sanctuary. God of the sea and rivers, creator of storms and floods, and the bringer of earthquakes and destruction, Poseidon was perhaps the most disruptive of all the ancient Greek gods, not solely for mortals however additionally to Zeus’ peaceable reign on Mount Olympus. Despite the above, the trident-bearing god was once not always a negative force, and he did have a role as a protector, in particular to mariners, and as the shopp
