Once inside the room, Alpha Doug pushed me forward till I was slammed into the mattress behind me. I waited as he climbed on top of me before I whispered: “Sopor” {Pronounced Soo-PAR, meaning sleep}. As it always did, the thought calmed me. “Mm, I have.” Atlas smirked against the side of my head. Just as he was about to say more, I yawned somewhat loudly. His chest rumbled with a repressed chuckle, and his voice was raspy and soft. “We’ll talk about that in the morning. I think we both need to get some sleep. Clearly, they like to wake up early around here.” “I’m not going to be able to sleep.” I huffed, wanting to know what Atlas had gathered about the portals.
