She squatted down, tilting his chin up with the tip of the rod, amusement and cruelty dancing in her eyes. "You like playing with this thing, right? Fine. I'll play with you." Annie switched on the stun baton, and the blue sparks sizzled in the air. Slowly, she brought it toward Hudson's groin. Another scream rippled through the basement, raw and heart-wrenching. Still, it wasn't quite the end. When Hudson was reduced to barely a breath, Annie had someone bring in the tattoo machine. The bodyguards pinned him down and stripped him, exposing his back.

“I promised him I’d check in, can you blame me?” Her eyes narrow, “Yes, yes, I can.” Then she turns to see me, she smiles, “I’m sorry, I’m being rude. I’m Annie, the Beta Female around here. You must be Raina Trainer.” I nod my head as I hold out my hand, “A pleasure to meet you, Beta Annie.” She swats my hand away and comes closer for a hug. The hug is awkward because of her belly in the way, and I swear, I feel the kid inside her kick at me.
