Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

Atticus smiled, saying, “Indeed, I won’t engage in a battle without preparing for it. Of course, I can’t be shameless either because it would be too greedy. I wouldn’t have a favorable outcome if I made a move on Bourdamun without assurance.” “It looks like you’re the crafty one,” I said straightforwardly, “So, you traded a stagnant pond for a vast ocean? You’re winning with a clear conscience.” I had to admit I felt a little uncomfortable. Atticus was extremely cunning.

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Ex-Wife's Revenge: Falling For His Greatest Enemy

Ex-Wife's Revenge: Falling For His Greatest Enemy

“Grandpa, my last name is Knox, not Westfield.” “Then change it to Westfield!” the old man barked, dead serious, his face filled with authority as if he wasn’t joking at all. Atlas: “...” “If you don’t want the Westfields to fall into Augustus’s hands, isn’t Atticus still around?” Atticus was the only surviving member of the second branch. His grandfather, who was also the old man’s younger brother, died of cancer years ago, as did Atticus’ parents. That’s why he became a doctor and was practically raised by the old man himself.

I Am The Luna

I Am The Luna

He’s dressed all in black - baggy pants and an oversized hoodie, and Atticus is in grey pants, with a white shirt and flipping smart shoes. Really? He rolls his sleeves up and I cock a brow. “You know your pants might split?” I try again to make him rethink this, trying not to look at his ass. He looks at me and smirks. “Then let’s just hope they don’t.” “Alright, let’s cut the chit chat. I’ve wanted to smash that face of yours for quite a while. I’m glad you offered yourself up for a beating.” Zade taunts quietly. “Like you said, cut the chit chat. I hope you can live up to your talk,” Atticus replies.

In the Eye of the Alpha

In the Eye of the Alpha

No girl in Ironside had captured my attention like Kodessa, and I was drawn to her by force I did not understand. As we entered the village gates, we heard a commotion. Our three-year brother Atticus came into view with our mother trailing behind. Atticus was completely nude, holding his beloved bear Tubbs in his left hand. “Atticus Grey, you stop right there”, Mother scolded as she bent down, trying to catch her breath. “Ha, gotcha “shrieked Fleki as he grabbed Atticus by the shoulder as swung him up onto hip. Tears flowed down Atticusś cheeks, and his bottom lip dropped, devastated by the fact his brother had captured and betrayed him.

My Alpha Mate Wants Me Back

But clearly, I really should stop expecting everyone else to think like I do. “I didn’t quite expect you to deliver, brother-in-law, but I must say, you surprise me every time,” Atticus croons sweetly at Lloyd, who manages to look in awe of him. “We shall discuss on your reward later.” Atticus inclines his head towards a guard slacking off by the door. “Escort him to his chambers.” Lloyd bows again before strutting out proudly, like he’s achieved something no one else could—and I suppose he has.

The Amazing Doctor

The Amazing Doctor

Atticus said, smiling falsely. Ambrose chuckled and went up to them. He said, "Thank you for saving my son's life, Dr. Carton. Don't worry, I will be sure to reward you handsomely!" Ambrose pulled out his phone as he spoke and made a call to the broadcasting station. Very soon, the reporters from the broadcasting station reached the hospital and began to do an exclusive interview for Atticus. On the news that night, Atticus appeared as one of the rising talents of medicine in Sartvale.

he explained. “You don’t worry that she will expose you?” Wyatt asked. Atticus smiled, showing the slight wrinkling of his eyes, “Many humans are a risk to our kind, but not Genivieve. She knew right away something was different about me. She was smart, but kind, asking all of the right questions, and one day, she just let me know she knew I wasn’t a human. She had all sorts of people from all walks of life come through her shop and I guess she had figured out who was who or what,” he chuckled, “She’s lovely with the children. She’s like a grandmother to them.”

a third person snapped. Atticus peered out around the corner of the house. His foot tangled in a length of ivy and he muttered a curse beneath his breath, holding it there until the sounds of their footsteps had passed. “We all know it will end up being Apollo,” one of them said distantly. Atticus tucked the name away for safekeeping. It could come in handy when he was asserting his dominance; so little was known about the Red Ripper rogues that any information, no matter how small, could be played up.

The Lost Heirs

The Lost Heirs

“What are you talking about?” “I know you and I know your inner Betty Cooper is deafened by the alarm bells that this place gives off. Don’t bother lying or try to suppress it. You and I both know that there’s something… off about this place… about our distant aunt and uncle,” Atticus insinuates. I hide my truth behind a stoic expression. “I don’t know what you mean?” Attius interrogates me with a probing look. A sly smile crawls on his face. He saunters over and seats himself beside Joshua, the mattress dips beneath him.

Violets and Ash

He bared his teeth, eyes flashing with murderous intent. “This isn’t because of Evelyn. This is because of her no good, pathetic father.” He snarled, bucking against my hold. I pressed my arm against his throat harder, enraptured by the way his face began to fill with blood. “Her dead father, you mean. He was mauled by rogues. You’re trying to get revenge on a dead man.” My father laughed, cold and cruel, and I knew I’d been mistaken. “Please, Atticus Slater is not dead. He’s very much alive, and there’s one thing in this world he cherishes above all others. I’ll let you guess as to what that is.”

I had trouble putting this down. Probably my favourite so far. Love the way the characters evolve and the interchange between them. Definitely not lacking in lots of plot twists and turns. Just when you thought it was safe… well done, Jane. Can’t wait to read your next books!!
Author K.C Rae
Absolutely beautiful writing, it’s been about a year since I’ve read Jane Doe’s work and I simply cannot believe how much she’s improved (not that she was bad/mediocre before). The story itself kept you captivated with lots of twists and turns, the characters were likable and spice was 4/5 stars
