Vampire's Angel

Vampire's Angel

she whispered and Blake grinned at her as he hunched down her neck to give her a kiss. "You are the only woman who made me feel this way! I love you too!" he responded and the night becomes warm they made love and they were happy that they finally accepted their fate. ***** A loud thunder was ringing in the angels' empire. While in the humans land, everyone was screaming as the skies became dark and a pack of vampires began to violate humans. A man with red eyes stared at a woman and a man who was staring at him. "Please my son, we don't hurt humans," a familiar voice said and when Abu stared at the woman face, he realized it was, Evangeline. Who was crying, her hands were dripping blood and

Vamp Invasion

Vamp Invasion

Devin sighed and gave me a pity look. “He’ll come around.” He assured me. “In the meantime, it’s a beautiful day and the sun is up. You wanna go for a walk?” he asked and shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal, only if he knew what he just did. He just invited a vampire for a walk, in the sun. Good thing I’m a day lighter. “Sure.” I said and stood up from the chair I was seated. “So, what do you wanna talk about?” He asked swinging his arms beside him while staring at my face making me a little more uncomfortable than I already am.

Vampire's Pet

Vampire's Pet

I soon found myself to begin shaking as well, grip tightening on the pillow. Every pet knows that this time would come for them, but even that can't compare for when it actually happens. Even though I knew that Nico was trying to fight it, he and I both knew that he couldn't fight it forever. Those kinds of predatory instincts run through him like his own blood, only allowing him to fight it for so long until it consumes him. He knew that once it did, he wouldn't have much control over what would happen next. It was the instincts that kept vampires alive no matter what once their species first began to grow.

A Vampire's Mark

A Vampire's Mark

“It's way more than that. We have: Moonfeast: Once a month, the village gathers beneath the Bloodwell. Goblets overflow with mortal blood, and the air fills with haunting music played on bone flutes and silver strings and the blood is shared one by one. The Claiming: A ritual where vampires mark chosen humans as theirs, lovers, thralls, or prey. Possession is both power and devotion. The most terrifying of them all. The Eternal Silence: A law forbidding loud laughter, music, or mortal-like festivity. Joy, if it exists here, is quiet, dangerous, and always tinged with hunger. Where are we, in prison?” “Okayyyy… That's wayyyy worse than I imagined. I won't even survive one week here. How do yo

Vampire on Fire

Vampire on Fire

“You should know that he’s merely a puppy, not a wolf. He barks but he can never bite, that’s why you are here.” Raverine inhaled the scent wafting in the air. “Come out, I can help you. I can sense your weakness. You’re no good at fighting me either, just bait.” Then a shadow loomed towards Raverine and its breathing became more audible. The vampire made its presence known and uncovered a black cloth over her burnt face. “Minly Young?” Despite of her burnt face, Raverine was able to recognize her. “I know what you did, Agustine. Setting that vape shop on fire, killing five shadow vampires... Are you seriously going to provoke the Die Dark Clan? And start another war?”

A Taste Of Sin: Awakening Her Darkest Desires

A Taste Of Sin: Awakening Her Darkest Desires

“What the fuck are you up to?” “I…” August huffs, clearly fighting to not speak. “Must… keep…” “Stop spewing your bullshit about fate!” Vance snarls, leaning in close. “What is your purpose?” “The end,” August rasps, rage filling his expression. “The end of all vampires.” “What end?” Vance demands. “What the fuck do you have planned?” “Not me. The goddess of light will take her revenge for your goddess taking her one true love, but in order for that to happen, he,” August continues, nodding toward Atticus. “Can’t be involved.”

Cursed Love!

Cursed Love!

Snow cried. "May be she was scared, her mind was filled with people's talk... Everyone was already considering him as a monster and that's what affected their relationship the most.." "What happened after that?" Valerina asked. "Augustus was young and it was hard for him to control his bloodthirst. He grown up within few months but it's normal that his mind wasn't strong like his body.. He used to attack any human he comes across. Serenity and Hybrids stopped him many times, they saved humans from him. Serenity was growing concerned about him, she never wanted him to become a monster who feeds on human blood... She always scolded Augustus and tried to be strict with him so he won't cross his

Raised by Vampires, Elves, and Werewolves

Raised by Vampires, Elves, and Werewolves

"Jenny, I don't remember them. To me, they're strangers. If strangers regret something, why should it matter to me?" Jenny opened her mouth but said nothing more. When I was about to close up in the evening, Augustus appeared at the door. He didn't look well today. There was an unnatural flush on his face. "Leah." His voice was hoarse. "I didn't bring an umbrella today." I glanced outside. The sun hadn't set yet. Vampires couldn't stay under sunlight for long. That was something I had read. "Come in," I said before stepping aside.

Creatures of THE Night

Creatures of THE Night

"I'm going to assume Alistair doesn't know we're turned. Let's use that against him. Three against one." I nodded. "Okay." "Have you ever been in a fight before?" Gabriel asked, rolling his sleeves over his biceps. "Is that a joke?" I retorted. "Born and raised in Chicago. You met with a vampire hunter. Tell me what to do." He nodded and brought me in close. "We need to rip the fucker's head off. He will have a weakness for fire and silver." I flashed back to how Alistair played with my mind. Twisting my thoughts and contorting my sense of reality. How he tortured Gabriel almost to the point of death. Hurt Vivianna and used her like an expendable plaything for decades.

Frequently Asked Questions

Augustines always catch my attention because they're so often portrayed as the vampire equivalent of old-money aristocrats, but with a scholarly twist. It's not just about being ancient and powerful; it's about the weight of their own history, a self-awareness that other vampire types lack. They're frequently shown collecting art or hoarding manuscripts, their immortality tied to a sense of curation rather than mere survival.

I find the 'Augustine' label gets slapped on any vampire with a library these days, which kinda dilutes the concept. The real core, to me, is the tragedy of enforced reflection. They've had centuries to ponder their own monstrousness, which creates this unique internal conflict—they're often the most humane because they've studied humanity so closely, yet they're permanently separate from it. That tension is gold for character-driven plots.

A lesser-talked-about trait I've noticed in some series is a specific vulnerability tied to their origin or their 'source' text, like a grimoire or a founding relic. Their power and their curse are literally bound in a book or an artifact, making them protectors of their own prison. It's a fantastic setup for a gothic mystery.
