Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

It wasn’t until he was a year and a half old, however, that the magic started to become truly dangerous. The leaves in the two tall oaks in the yard behind the house were just beginning to turn. Most remained green, but the edges of many were now painted red and gold as the weather cooled. A few leaves had fallen to the grass below, early casualties knocked from their perch by the gentle breeze blowing through the yard. Despite a bright afternoon sun, the air bore that special crispness that signaled autumn was well underway. Leesa much preferred this weather to the sticky heat of summer.

September Ends

September Ends

PurpleGrimmy
Thus, the promise at the first of September started at the grass field, below the oak tree were two people that had bonded deeper than tree roots, made a promise unto one another. But do all things go in our favor? Not all things end in our favor, even knowing what future lies ahead of us. September 27th, Year XXXX "The festival will be starting on 30th, Glad I am done with all the preparations," Paul mumbled while checking the calendar, the rain was pouring so hard outside, and it seems that it will stay till tomorrow. Then, he checked his guitar, finding if it needs fixing. Despite the rain pouring from the roof, the atmosphere was oddly quiet, only the sound of thunder and rainfall envelo

The Vengeance of the Crimson Blade

The Vengeance of the Crimson Blade

Very intimidating and menacing. "We're going to drag him to hell! Never forget that goal, never forget me... I am you... and you are me!" Zitrey abruptly opened her eyes. The beads of sweat are now flowing in her forehead, and body are drench by it. She then gasped for air. She adjusted her eyes from the bright light coming from the sun shone onto the leaves of the tree. Leaves are falling down from it twigs, twirling in the air with such a big volume. The dried leaves falling are increasing by number day by day, as the autumn season are about to reach its end.

M Freire
The story starts with a good prologue where the main character defines herself as the son of the family. While reading I thought it was one of those stories that I could predict what would happen next which wasn't the case. It surprises you in a positive way. Catchy! Waiting for the next chapters!

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Resurrected (Book #9 in the Vampire Journals)

Scarlet ran across the wide stone plaza and up the series of steps to the front doors of her school. As she did, she clutched her light, fall jacket to herself. She wish she’d worn something warmer; just a few days ago, it was like 70, but now, it felt more like 50. October was so unpredictable, she thought. Especially now, at the end, with just a few days before Halloween. She made a mental note in her head that when she got home, she would have to go down to the basement and switch out her late summer wardrobe for her fall one.

The Anointment

The Anointment

Gretchen Marie
His mood shifted quickly from emperor to soldier when necessary. The autumn air quickly turned chilly as the sun sank behind the mountaintops. A wind picked up out of the north, blowing the trees around them. The woods were still mostly green, but the colors of early autumn were beginning to take control. In this part of the mountains, summer gives up its fight early as the shorter days of the new season set in motion the burst of familiar colors. The first trees to turn were the locusts followed by the elms.

A Steamy Night And A Wedding

A Steamy Night And A Wedding

Zowey Rens
KNOXX FELT a pang of disappointment creeping up his system at the scent of Autumn's hair. It was not the scent that he expected. Her hair smells like watermelon and jasmine combined. Although it's relaxing and he likes the scent of it, he's disappointed to know that she’s not the woman who ran away from him three years ago. He thought it was Autumn already, but she just didn’t want to tell him.

THE WOLF'S FATE

THE WOLF'S FATE

Her guardian angel certainly put forth extra effort for her. Although the anguish intensified, the moisture on her skin that was cooled by the cool air and the blood that covered her turtleneck made her feel even colder. Something approached her. She inhaled the aromas and listened intently to the sound of its scrambling. When she baked apple pies, prepared specialty soups and hot, spicy chili, and decorated with pumpkins, squash, and vibrant mums—colors that complemented her flaming red hair and green eyes—it was a cold, crisp autumn with a touch of wetness in the air. Autumn, her favorite season.

The Eternal Forest: Her Alpha

The Eternal Forest: Her Alpha

Hazel I walked through the woods with Gera flying lazily beside me, the leaves crunched beneath my feet, and the cool breeze ruffled my long blonde hair. Autumn was my favorite time of year, the changing leaves made me feel so alive, ironic considering they were dying. The shortened days made for longer nights and the stars always made me feel less alone. The other nymphs favored spring, rebirth, new life, and all that. While it was a beautiful time of year it just wasn't for me.

INTO THE WILDERNESS: The Journey

INTO THE WILDERNESS: The Journey

However, the most of them had already given up and were either dancing slowly in the breeze or resting on the ground. Autumn ushers in sweater weather, stunning foliage displays, and harvest festivities. In these woods, the equinox heralds the start of a awesome season as I knew in my mind was called Autumn. Others, on the alternative hand, see this season as a miserable reminder of the cease of summer, with fewer cookouts and seaside reading. Ohh. “𝐷𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝐴𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑚𝑛..” I whispered.

Almost a Fairytale

Almost a Fairytale

Deryl Chalman
CHAPTER 43 Autumn had arrived in Riverside. The trees have turned into a fiery glow of orange, yellows, and reds. It’s Lina’s favorite season and her son, Adam. They would go out in the afternoon and play underneath the maple trees in their backyard. She would pretend to shovel Adam inside a pile of leaves. Her son would growl and try to catch her while she pretended to be afraid. Their peals of laughter would ring the backyard. Later, Rita would call them back for a snack of muffins and warm milk.
