Langit saw a pink duffel bag, and he smiled them turned around, heading back towards Green house. Green opened her home door with undescribeable feeling. Her heart was so overwhelmed by the pain of Alta's wounds so that she lost her cry but her inner voice screamed. Green sat up and looked at every corner of the living room that had ever witnessed her love affair with Alta. Tears again fell down Green's cheeks, she cried without a sound, and only tears seemed rushing down her cheeks.

Something moved in her direction, She paused to listen intently at the sounds of scurrying and tried to smell the scents. After Viktor delivered the letter to be sent to his sister, he and Erich met again at the warehouse. Now, after sunset, the air had a characteristic autumnal chill that suggested the season was about to change again. In too little time the decline of autumn would give way to winter and the dead months of the year. A chilly wind blew in from under the wooden doors and whistled through the slate tiles above the hayloft.

I could feel the pulse of magic the tree emitted prick against my flesh, sending goosebumps skittering ominously in its wake, "It does. Spring is earth, for obvious reasons. Winter is water. Fire belongs to summer because of the unbearable heat. And, wind belongs to autumn because of the brisk breeze that whistles through the trees carrying loose leaves through the air."

Jasmine sat on a wooden bench in the backyard, engrossed in the book on her lap. Occasionally, her eyes glanced at the slowly falling leaves, creating a beautiful orange carpet around her. The cold air started to creep in, making Jasmine tighten her scarf around her neck. A gentle breeze blew, carrying the soothing yet slightly melancholic scent of autumn. It had been over a month since she moved to this new place with Seth. Jasmine still found it hard to call this place home. To Jasmine, home should evoke warmth and familiarity, something she didn't feel here. It was too unfamiliar, too quiet, despite being spacious and grand.

Half a month later, on a quiet afternoon, I had already settled in a small town by the seaside. I had sold my wedding ring for a substantial amount of money. I filled my days with good food and beautiful scenery. A dull ache would occasionally surface in my body. I had no idea how much time I had left. Hence, I treated each day as if it were my last. I laid back on a beach chair and listened to the steady rhythm of the waves. Over the past 27 years of life, I had never felt this free or at ease.
