Ashton stepped beside Ava, pulling his cloak off, revealing the full markings across his chest—the Alpha runes passed down his bloodline, now glowing bright silver. "You're not doing this alone."

He thought of torturing them to death. After what seemed like eternity, Edward knocked on the door before pushing it open. Lynx was expecting a positive news from him. He wanted to hear that they had been captured. "We were unable to capture them, I'm afraid they've escaped from the pack," Edward said. Lynx brows furrowed, and he banged the table.
