Daniel stood a few steps away. My jaw tightened. “What do you want?” Ava snapped. Daniel ignored her and looked at Peter. “Can we talk? The stupidest thing you’ve ever done.” I said coldly, barely restraining my anger. At my tone and use of words Tony’s face reddens, clearly insulted.

"You already know what’s going on here, so stop the small talk," I yelled, speeding like I’d lose my mind if I didn’t reach the location soon. "Can I call my husband?" Tony asked. I was forced to slam the brakes. "And say what to him?" I yelled, looking him straight in the eyes. Did I regret it? Yes. I fucking did.
