Novel & Cerita Average Time To Read A 300-page Book

I told her. "An hour," she told me. "You will have finished by then." I looked at the reading. She was right. Forty pages and I read quickly when I was not distracted and this morning I was not. My mind was quiet enough to do actual work. "Fine," I told her. She turned another page.

I asked, and he took off his shades. “Because ever since we got into the jet, you’ve been holding onto the same page on that book, and it’s been an hour already,” he said, and I shrugged. “I like my reading slow. One line per minute.” I said. “I see you enjoy reading upside down, too.” When he said this, my mind was drawn back to reality, and I realized I was holding my book wrongly. “I need to use the bathroom,” I said, standing up at once, and making my way to the bathroom to catch a breath.

“Holy shite!” I spent the next hour going through page by page. However, it seemed that the book always managed to place a new page at the back as soon as I finished reading one page because I’d never gotten through the book despite the five hours of sleep that I’d foregone. Right before the breaks of dawn, I reached an interesting page filled with names.

My body lowered on the leather couch as I picked the first book on my stack. I was reading about the history of the pack which meant I had to go back to the first king. It was quite an interesting story and I did not have anywhere to go so I flipped page after page, the sound of the training warriors my comfort in a way. The first book was done in two hours, all six hundred pages of it. I placed it down, picking another and sitting back to indulge myself in history. It seemed my ability to remember everything I read was not shared with the wolves nor the speed I could read at.

Three More Hours Later. Done, I told myself. I think that is enough for today's reading. I finished two books today in five hours. “Fear You” Book 2. I started Book 3 “Fear Us” Broken Love Series. I got two more to read again. I am so excited to read them over again. I thought with a cocky grin. But what I didn’t know is. How do they know they were my favorite books? What a strange one. They must have stalked me or asked someone that knows me well.

"Lilih, your reading speed is so fast..." Jack whispered in shock as he took a bite of his apple, Liana finished reading two thirds of a book in half an hour. " Actually, I'm just reading to familiarize myself with current technology, not reading in detail, you know? " Since Liana already had a good base, she could figure out which parts of the text she needed to concentrate on after just a quick scan, this way she didn't have to waste time reading things she already knew, and as soon as she finished reading, she already picked up another and continued her reading.

Ed observed Ruby selecting a novel yesterday. "Yes, I like thick ones. They last longer, but that also depends on the storyline. The excitement of the story determines its duration. I once finished a book over a thousand pages long in three days because it was thrilling, but there's one very thin book I still haven't finished because it's boring. I always fall asleep while reading it." Ruby explained it at length, forgetting her intention to be cautious. It had been a long time since she talked about books with anyone, so she easily got carried away. Usually, she would discuss books—or anything—with her mother, which was no longer possible.

Liana's POV A good thirty minutes had passed, and Kieran had still refused to drop the book. Instead, he flipped through the pages with so much dexterity that there was no way I could come to any other conclusion except one. He was reading the book, and taking his time too.

Why some packs rose, why others crumbled into dust. Light reading. The kind of thing normal people grabbed when they couldn't sleep. Or when they were secretly unhinged. She didn't consider herself a fast reader, yet the moment she opened it the pages pulled her in, each chapter feeling disturbingly familiar, like scattered memories rising too quickly to the surface. Her brain was doing that thing again, the thing she refused to name, where information locked into place like it had been waiting for her to catch up. She devoured the entire book before he returned. Six hundred pages. In under two hours. She would take that particular detail to her grave.

She never cared, though, and I didn't think she cared now. "Will you?" I whispered, hoping that Mrs. Flinch wouldn't catch us and ask us to explain what she was saying. "If I finish this book in time, I will," she sighed, waving a thick book in my face. I can't understand how someone sits down to read for a whole day and only stops for bathroom breaks. I don't get the joy people find in such things. To me, it was just staring at words and nothing more. I still haven't read past the first thirty pages of the book and it has three hundred plus pages in it.
