Axel POV The scents in the room are overpowering. Full of lust and desire. I scrub my hand over my face, turn around, and walk to the window. I stare at the grounds, town, and the forest. The forest I so desperately want to escape into right now. This whole situation is impossible on a multitude of levels, and I have no idea how to even begin fixing it. I want to mate with Alice, and not Elara. But I do not want Elara to end up with monsters like Greg and Luke.

She was perfect—too perfect for him, and that thought only made his obsession with her deeper. “Are you okay?” Alex asked again, breaking Axel from his thoughts. His voice was softer now, tinged with something like sympathy. “I’m fine,” Axel snapped again, perhaps a little too sharply. He wasn’t sure what was happening to him. He had never been this affected by anyone before, but Hazel had somehow broken through every wall he had built around himself. The rest of the office chatter continued around him, but Axel couldn’t focus on anything. He had to get out of there.

He was just desperate to have an heir, nothing more. Plus Matilda and Melissa wouldn't be that careless to let Axel find out the truth. I'm sure as hell that they might have masked the scent from him. It's not like there's anything that they're both incapable of doing. “I bet Axel didn't bother to look out for those things!” I responded. “Like I said earlier, he's desperate to have a pup. And he doesn't care who gives him one.” “Fuck!” He groaned in annoyance. “He's the biggest fool I know and he sure deserves an oscar for being such a fool.” He hissed through gritted teeth.

Axel then hugged Albert tightly. “Albert, I'm sorry. Sorry if I have committed a very big sin against you. I have stolen your life and always tried to kill you. I was blinded by my love for Bella so I did this. However, I love you as my brother. Now, I promise to always love you as my little brother. Thank you for keeping your promise to me to be willing to give your life for me. Thank you, Albert. I love you, my twin brother,” said Axel in his heart. Yes, Axel loves Albert. However, his affection was defeated by his ambition to love Bella too much which made him always do evil to his twin brother.

I am afraid I might start believing everything is real, but if I still keep my distance I will keep reminding myself non of this is real. Axel is a a jerk,I still hate him, and don't trust him, the first day I met him and ruined his precious jersey he was looking at me like he wanted to rip of head from my neck, then he suddenly appeared at the tutoring session and the professor assigned me as his tutor. Then he starts flirting, joking around and annoying me... Then he appears and save me from my ex and his girlfriend... Then he offers to fake date me to help me piss off Riley. Everything just feels like the perfect revenge plot of a N*****x movie.

He sounded so passionate about it, as anticipated from a Workacholic. Normal people are addicted to drinking, clubbing, smoking and doing drugs, but Axel seems to be addicted to work. He lives and breathes in business. Axel works for long hours, he was always serious. All the work he was doing to keep the company going might be affecting his health and mind, no wonder he was always so cranky. Without thinking, I went to sit beside him, raised my hand and placed it on his cheeks, I ran my thumbs under his eyes, I frowned upon thinking of how hard he beats himself up, it was only when Axel gripped my had, that I realised what I had done Axel gripped my hands, he looked down at me frowning,

And it was all because of the relentless assault from Axel’s powerful junior! Axel punched the wall in front of him, feeling frustrated. The woman's shouts were like water dripping into Axel's ears. All that occupied his mind now was how he could shout Aura's name during his pleasured and reaching the peak of his pleasure? How could his mind indulge in such dirty fantasies about his own boss? Shittt! 'What's wrong with me? How could I think of Aura while being intimate with a prostitute? And, even worse, my desire can skyrocket just by remembering Aura? Damn!' Axel cursed, growing more frustrated.

I snapped. Axel shrugged again. “I do keep up with the news, and honestly? I don’t see the appeal of getting photographed while puking your guts out in a fountain after a bad acid trip or making a scandal by going into a hotel room with a supermodel. I don’t need that kind of drama in my life, Mr. Whitney, I think you may understand.” I kept looking at ‘Jesse’, waiting for her to get angry and go off on me for trying to bully her friend. I wanted Axel to rise to the bait, but he wasn’t. Either the man actually believed what he said, or he was onto me.

Smiling at his own joke, Axel pushed the door open and stepped into the perfumed darkness of room 808. Axel stopped in front of door 808, adjusting his tie. Although he was a playboy, he had his principles: he didn't believe in marriage, it's true, but he only engaged in consensual and “serious” relationships (in his own way). He was there solely out of scientific curiosity. Click. Beep. The electronic lock gave way. Axel pushed the door open. The intense scent of roses hit him first. Upon entering, his eyes were immediately drawn to the centerpiece: a king-size bed covered in a sea of red rose petals. In the center of this unholy altar was a woman.

He smiled into his kiss knowing fully well he had succeed in brainwashing her and that would make his plans more easy to be executed. In every existence, there is always that one person everyone liked, believed, cherished and always trusted them but unfortunately they are the real villian in their lives. Axel had gone to far, he killed Xalorad and brainwashed Lorenzo's in taking the blame. There is something he had always wanted and won't rest till he laid his hands on it. 'THE THRONE'. #Flashback.
