Someone charging at his back had his muscles tensing up as he moved in the nick of time. He growled at the large man who was none other than Amos. The Lord of the vampires. His bloodshot eyes glared at him. He bared his fangs and hissed at Axel. "You killed my son, I'm gonna rip you in shreds," Amos snarled as he charged at Axel with such speed that Axel couldn't even see him coming. Amos landed a hard blow on Axel as his body hit the wall and fell on the floor with a thud.

I hated vampires with every fiber of my being and each one of them will pay for what they did to my family. I'll erase all of them from existence. The man was wearing a silver mask over his face. It wasn't human skin I could tell that much but it looked like it. It would definitely be useful for a hunter or something. He moved quickly and tried to grab at my throat but I swatted him away easily. Axel got back on feet growling at him. His eyes turned red for a second and the man disappeared in smoke. He reappeared behind Axel, nipping his right hind leg causing him to collapse.

Shouldn’t he be with Rosie? Stretching, I rub my eyes, still tired even after my long nap. “So Axel,” I yawn. “What kind of supernatural are you?” His eyes go wide. “I don’t know what you mean. I’m …” “You’re dating a witch and you know about elves,” Slone points out. “I just… assumed you must be something.” Blushing I look to the side “Sorry if I misunderstood.” “What about you,” Axel shifts our attention to me. “You seem to know a lot about this as well.”

Wolfgang raised the corner of his lips, and he approached Selina. When their faces were only ten centimeters apart, Wolfgang stopped moving. "you aren't human." Selina was see-through by Wolfgang, and her heart suddenly beat faster than usual. She didn't know why she was discovered, but she better not tell the truth. "Why am I not human?" Wolfgang saw that she was still stubbornly denying it, so he did not hesitate to take out the knife he always carried. Selina was also taken by surprise by Wolfgang's actions. He took a knife and cut himself into the flesh of his arm. But the strange thing was that the wound quickly returned to normal as if it had never happened.

I yell as I lift my hands and thrust them towards him. Rocks and ice daggers lunging for him. I hear the daggers slicing through Axel’s skin as he falls to his knees, I grab his head in my hand and lean it back, “You see Axel, I'm not a wolf nor am I human. I am what they call a witch. You've attempted to take something dear from me even though I wanted to spare your life but now you are going to die!” His eyes widen as I take one of his knives and slit his throat, his lifeless body bleeding out onto the ground.

My howls turned more agonizing as I went into a bad place. And then, miraculously, the wolf stopped as his entire body came crashing down on top of me. I yelped from the impact of a grown man’s full weight hitting my body. Once I recovered, I opened my eyes to see Alex holding an entire bloodied vertebral column with his claws, clearly ripped from the wolf’s body. I instantly pushed the dead man off me and sprinted away as Alex threw the vertebrae away and held off the other three wolves, one of whom looked like he wouldn’t get too far as a bloody puddle formed under him and he eventually turned human, dropping to the ground.

I hung my head, holding onto Hector as tight as I possibly could. “Athena no. She will kill you and our pup” “And if I don’t, she will kill Hector. I don’t have choice Axel” I stood only to be knocked down again as my mum’s white wolf attacked the witch. Only she wasn’t quick enough and was thrown across the room. Her body made a sickening crack as it hit the concrete wall forcing her to shift back. My dad struck with worry was straight to her side covering up her naked unconscious form as he inspected her injuries. Axel roared the entire room shaking. The ceiling fixtures began to come loose, each falling and smashing on the ground. He bent down and grabbed hold of Hector kissing him with a

Alpha Axel's phone buzzed urgently, interrupting his quiet evening. He glanced at the screen, his heart sinking at the sight of an unknown number. He answered cautiously. "Hello?" "Axel, it's me, Brandon," came the strained voice on the other end. "Brandon? What's wrong? Where are you?" Axel's mind raced with worry for his best friend. "I've been captured by vampires, Axel. They are using me for their experiments. Please, you have to help me!"

Still not moving he sighs and runs down the hallway towards me. “ It was his first time shifting back from wolf form and he had an injury on his right side. He lost a lot of blood but the only thing he keeps saying is your name. Now I don’t know how he knows you and I was hoping you could clear that up for me. Maybe you can recognize him. He's in pretty bad shape though so please don’t freak out” the words coming out of his mouth pounded into my brain as I tried to understand what was going on.
