I hoped and laid my head on the car seats and stared outside the window. When I got to Ax Gallery, I paid the cab driver and alight from the car. I stood at the front of the gallery and closed my eyes as I whispered a few words of prayer. I hope what happened last wouldn't happen again. I wasn't ready for another breakdown. A car horn behind me and when I turned, I saw Axel come down from the car and walked towards me. "What are you doing standing and not moving?" He asked. I gaped at him and he looked like had just come out from a Vogue magazine. He wore a brown Italian suit that made him look like a celebrity model.

How I wish they know who she really is, apart from stage. And the last but not the least was Axel, also known as Zel, the almighty, walking in with a dazzling white cloth, which sparkle in the light that shines in the dark. His aura alone disrupted the stage order; his name was on everyone’s lip, as they all rose to their feet to cheer him.

They were walking towards the woods when they saw a wolf, it was a huge white wolf. “Tyler?” called out Jacob, aloud. “What is he doing here this late?” Asked Althea. “Axel?” Jacob called him aloud. Axel was Tyler’s wolf’s name. He turns towards them and shifts back into his human form. He was not wearing anything. He walked towards them. Althea looked away. He had a muscular body, with six packs, and strong broad shoulders, due to shifting his body was sweaty. He walked slowly with stone expressions; his deep blue eyes were on Jacob. He was completely ignoring her, it has been years since they have talked, and he had stopped talking to her in his teens. He stopped a few steps away from her.

I walk over and take a seat right at the bottom of the tree, the sounds of nature surrounded me as I sat there hugging my legs. Axel is a werewolf?! I had no idea they even existed, why would he want me? I know he’s been so kind and I’ve come to trust him, but what if that is all an act as he’s really out to get me?! Perhaps I would have been safer staying with Patrick.

The Axel that works in ClaraVogue, the Axel from high school, the Axel with a cheeky grin. The Axel that has a cat named Mr. Whiskers. That Axel. He’s on the fucking stage, as the new CEO of Noble Fucking Craft. “Thank you.” Axel’s voice resounds around the room, thick and coated with his familiar accent. “I am Axel Williams, the new CEO of Noble Craft.” Camera light flashes in his face as the reporters all try to take snapshots of him. All I can think of is what the hell is happening?

Inspector Peller continued slowly before turning to walk away but I stopped him. “ Excuse me, Inspector Peller ” He stopped and turned to look at me urging me to go with his eyes. “ Can't you keep this a secret ?” I asked him, causing his eyes to widen in surprise. I rushed to explain myself “ You see, Austin Walker was a renowned music icon loved by many. I want it to stay that way. There's only one person I want to be blamed for all this ” I told him as Inspector Peller smiled at me.

Chapter 12 Axel After the first time we made love, yeah, I know, scary Biker “making love” with his girl, we fucked another three times before we passed out through sheer exhaustion. We did the whole soft and gentle thing because it was her first proper time. I have never in my life made love to a woman before. I always fuck. This time was different though. I had felt this connection between us since we first met at the bar. I think she could feel it too, but she was with him. All week I kept thinking about her. "It's... Vienna's hearing aid..." "Why is it in your backpack?" Mom cried. "Why is Vienna's hearing aid in your backpack? Answer me!" "I was just doing what you said..." Sadie's voice shook. "You said Vienna needed to be independent. I thought if she walked home alone... even without it... she'd learn." Mom went still. "So you took her hearing aid?" Her voice dropped to a whisper. "And sent her across the street alone?" "I was only trying to help—"

"I'm getting you out." Something moved in his face that didn't finish arriving before Axel was already at the bottom of the stairs. "Can he walk?," Axel said. "Does it look like he can?" Victor walked past him and went to one side of Cross. Axel came to the other side without being asked. "On three." Between us we got Cross off the floor. Not cleanly — the man had nothing left to give the effort and we had a narrow staircase. Axel took most of the weight on the stairs and didn't complain about it.

" He kept that promise, in a frenzy, as he turned half-wolf and tore through the werewolves, breaking ribs and ripping off an ear. It took five years to beat every elder who challenged him, claiming the Northern Wolf Kingdom. No one whispered a word against me, the human, after that. He loved me beyond reason, to the point of placing the Alpha King's Seal in my hands. However, the warmth of yesterday's promises has turned to ice. Except for Rhett, Xavier was the only werewolf in the Wolf Kingdom who was kind to me. I looked at his still body, closing his eyes. Standing up, I left my feelings behind.
