He walked into his own office, filled with books and records that are dated as far back as fifteen centuries ago, they weren't dusty, they were always republished and redesigned. "No, they worked but they didn't work a hundred percent on her." Axel replied as he folded his arms. He closed his eyes to access the whole night again. He paid attention to every detail. "Yes" He blurted out when he realized another key factor. He had just remembered something he skipped a long while ago. He just found out something. Wesley raised his eyebrows up to show interest as he waited on what Axle would say. Curious he was. "What?" Wesley, who had his hands in a book, paused.

Suddenly, Arlen felt a tiny snap in his ankle. "Oh, Shit!" Arlen cursed under his breath as he went down with the books he was told to guard with his little life. Some did fall, but a strong arm grabbed him out of nowhere, and he yelped. "Are you okay?" "Ye...yes." Arlen stood carefully as the taller man picked up the books. "Sorry, I didn't mean to drop them." Axel's smile rescinds as he observes the omega diligently. "Those books are heavy; let me help." He took them without giving Arlen a chance to refuse.

But he needs to get on with his class, and I need to let Trisha know what’s happening so she can warn my brothers-in-law. So, I head into Axel’s office, clicking the door behind me softly and flipping on the light. His office is exactly what I expected it would be... stacked on every wall with cases filled with books about Green Mountain history. I take a moment to appreciate his collection, running my fingers along each shelf as I read each spine. Some of these are obviously very old. Others are brand new, textbooks mostly, or reference books about language or symbols. It doesn’t matter how long it takes before Axel is ready for our mate bond. He took out the only book on the shelf and handed it to Andrius. Andrius picked it up and saw that it had an ancient aura. The title read: “Hades’ Axiom”. He flipped through the pages. The first right page was a diagram of blood vessels, and the left page was a corresponding passage from the axiom. “To achieve ultimate emptiness, maintain profound stillness. Observe all that exists as they rise, return to their roots after they grow and flourish...” As Andrius read, he could not help but be drawn by the contents. He sat down cross-legged and began cultivating according to the instructions in the book. It was an incredibly profound cultivation manual.

Realization hit me as I looked up at a serious looking Alexander. "You Alexander are just as big of a manipulator as I am. We've been manipulating each other every step of the way. It seems you one upped me because I definitely said to much. To bad for you though I'm always 1000s of steps ahead and think of everything and had safety precautions up just in case. So the moment I restore this book they will activate. " I said as I flipped to the last page and restored it causing the book to illuminate power all over.

All labeled as part of the House of Orion. And scattered throughout the book were illustrations. Drawings of wolves. Massive wolves with intelligent eyes and powerful builds. Why wolves? What did any of this mean? I set the book down and grabbed another file. This one was labeled simply: "Addison - Personal Observations." Inside were pages and pages of notes in Axel's handwriting. About me. About my habits, my preferences, my fears, my dreams. Things I'd told him in confidence, written down like data to be analyzed.
