I walk over to the bed and settle next to her as she leans on my arm while still holding the baby things in her hands. "Where do we start?" She asks as I flip through the books. "From the beginning." I say as I settle in and open the book. "So our baby is about twenty-eight centimeters, and four hundred and thirty grams. That's so small." I say as I rub Autumn's stomach as she flips the page.

𝙰𝚌𝚎 𝙰𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚛 7 years old. The brown-haired boy stood there looking at the woman helping her kids choose the toys they wanted. Ace didn't get help from her, he's shy, anxious that she's going to return the ten dollars teddy bear that he brought. His soft small hand clenched the ear of the brown teddy bear, he pouted and with a shaking body, he approached his mother.

Gem spits while standing beside mom who is shaking "Haahaa oh yeah we can see you need breaking in, well don't worry cheery pie there's plenty of us whos willing to oblige, and as for this chocolate muffin," he says nodding to mom "well i don't usually like them older but Mmmmm i think ill have a bite of this one",

For the humans the naming would be after seven days but the giants named their child that same day. The baby was sleeping soundly on the bed, Elia and I sat near the baby while Derek and Magnus stood together near the balcony. Please.” Celine hesitates for a moment, then nods. “Alright, but take it slow, okay?” With surprising strength, I reach out. My fingers brush against the cool metal of the bassinet as Celine carefully wheels it closer. Inside, nestled in a cloud of white blankets, lies a tiny creature.

Six days old. Tiny. Warm. Wrapped in the softest white blanket embroidered with the same rose pattern as the nursery mobile. Her dark hair is still soft wisps, catching the faint rooftop light. Her cheeks are flushed pink from sleep, mouth open in that perfect newborn pout. She’s nestled against his chest in the carrier, head tucked under his chin, breathing those little puffs that sync with his heartbeat. Every few minutes she makes a soft sigh, a hiccup, a dream-smile that makes my own heart stutter.

Op​ens her eyes—​dar‍k like all newborns, but I swear s‌he sees me. “She’s really here,” Amon breathes, his h‍and on her tiny⁠ ba‌ck. “S⁠he’s really okay.” “Ten fingers, ten toes, ‍” t‌he nurs‍e confirms, doing the newb‍orn checks. “Se⁠ven pounds, thr​ee ounces​. Don't forget the oven, howling with the baby like a game of hide and seek. The baby laughed loudly. While making the bathwater, Daisy keeps the door opening so the boy could see her. She stands there and takes off her coat. The child also covered his face with his small hands. Mouth sticking out tongue, head shaking as if to say "unbelievable. Too shameless.” Before draining the water. There is one last layer. She waves to the child, asking him to close the door for her. The child enjoys being the mini-hero outside the bathroom door. Luna shouted something — Lily couldn’t hear it. Then— Silence. And a cry. Small. Sharp. Alive. Lily collapsed back against the pillows, chest heaving. Luna stood frozen, eyes wide, hands shaking. Wrapped in blankets in Luna’s arms… Was the baby. He was quiet now. Watching. Newborn, but too aware. Too focused. Soft blonde hair already visible against his tiny head. And eyes — Blue. But deeper than either sister’s. Storm blue. Luna swallowed hard. “He’s…” She stopped.
