I just let my tears freely flow from my eyes as I told them my story. As I told them my first ever babysitting job I got when I was eleven, my very first kiss, the every fight me and my mother quarrel about which is about me going to college and spending my savings for a goddamn course that she said I wasn’t fit for. I told them about Jordan and my job at Maine, my first sex and the first time I feel liberated and unchained from the so-called family who adopted me. Minutes turned to hours as I just narrated my heart-wrenching story. Melissa and Rowena just vivaciously listen to my whine and tales, my rant and my longings.

Okay, deep breath, I can do this. As we talked about babysitting, she inquired, "Do you have experience in handling kids?" With a nod, I replied, "Yes, I have been babysitting a little girl next door since she was only five months old. I am quite adept at taking care of children." Once the dinner was over, Aldo and his father excluded me and took Grandpa aside to have a conversation. I was left with the Cerone women who pestered me with endless questions, showing no signs of stopping.

He somewhat noticed the thick atmosphere and decided to give them privacy saying Alex should get to know his ' Babysitter ' better now that he was back. Alex frowned at Jack's choice of words. It obviously didn't sit well with him and both Jack and Ava noticed. " My babysitter? " Alex asked in a low, threatening growl and he looked like he was going to strangle Jack any moment. Ava tried to keep her laughter in as she looked at his fuming face. He looked like a child who was about to throw a tantrum. The baby boy fell asleep within a few minutes and she dropped him carefully in his cot. Melissa exhaled and looked around. Each child lay in their cot, sleeping peacefully, without a care in the world. This was one Melissa’s part time jobs, working as a baby sitter in a small nursery. The job was tedious, dealing with children took a lot of mental and physical power, but the pay was good, so Melissa couldn’t complain.

~Lena~ I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with a job, but there I was, nineteen years old with nothing but a high school diploma and a pair of too-tight ankle socks, completely addicted to the Wests’ quiet house and the man who lived inside it. Babysitting was supposed to be simple. It was supposed to be a side gig. Just ten dollars an hour, three nights a week, feed the baby, sing lullabies, wipe some drool, then walk home with my panties still on. That’s all it should’ve been.

Lisa exclaimed as she entered the living room with Crystal in her arms. "What's wrong, Aunt?" Stephanie queried, concern etched on her face. "Can one of you babysit Crystal until I get back, please?" Lisa's gaze shifted between us, pleadingly. "I would love to babysit her." I volunteered, accepting the request without hesitation; I absolutely adore toddlers. Lisa sighed in relief. "Thank you so much, Bella. I don't know how I'm going to repay you for this, but I'm very grateful." She expressed her gratitude as she gently handed Crystal to me.

“Don’t worry, I don’t judge you for that or anything. I’m actually excited for you to meet our little Keith already.” Right. The 5-year old toddler that she was about to babysit. Therese remembered asking Raven about his son but he told her that it was better for her to just meet him in person. He just gave her vague details about his personality like him being shy and slowly warming up to strangers. It was one of the reasons why no babysitters or attendants were lasting long in the job. Not for long, though. Because Keith piqued Therese’s curiosity and if things went well, she was planning to stay for a while there.

Something that had angered Dane greatly. Baba had been utterly shocked as well, but I had told him we were ok. He had been beyond angry, and the string of curses that left him had startled even me. He would spend the afternoons telling Aria stories about brave princesses who had gone through so much as well as the stories from the Arabian Nights. It made me smile that he was trying to help her get past this event. It was now afternoon, Dane and I were sitting with Baba in the living room. Aria had just fallen asleep with her head in my lap, whilst Dane was sitting next to me, his arm around me, his fingers running through my hair comfortingly.

Chapter 20: Intrusive questions Kathleen’s P.O.V I tucked her into the soft, cozy bed. I then dimmed the lights before sitting by her bed and reading her bedtime story from my phone. I wasn’t used to searching bedtime stories and didn’t really have an idea of what kids would like, so I chose the first story that came up on the internet, not really focusing on what it was about, but in the end, it did turn out to be an interesting story about friendship, as explained by two cute bunnies.

That's why the kid was laughing so hard. She was entertaining and funny. Every day, Victor could see why Benjamin liked her so much. "Good evening," he uttered, his deep voice scaring Sarah and making her almost curse in front of the kid. "Jesus Christ, you scared me, Mr. Reed," she said with her hand on her chest. Benjamin seemed delighted with the scene. "Hi, daddy. Sarah was telling me a story." "Yeah, I imagined. So, I think it's time to go to bed, right?" Victor started.
