“Congratulations!” Gabriella smiled sweetly when she opened the door of their house. Their house helpers, who couldn’t join the graduation ceremony earlier, shouted in unison. She had been crying nonstop because she couldn’t believe she finally reached this point. It felt like just yesterday when she still needed a babysitter because of her stubbornness. Babysitter, she whispered while looking around the house. Where could that guy be? “Did you see Rey Jhon, Mom?” she asked her mother. “Didn’t he follow us home earlier?”

"Doing what?" "Babysitting, mostly," she said, leaning in, her eyes shining with a warmth that felt dangerously genuine. "For a very wealthy family. They have this little girl... Oh, Mama, you should see her. Her name is Louise. She’s... she’s adorable. She has these big, soulful eyes and she’s so smart. I’ve only been there a short while, but I already love her so much. Sometimes, when I’m holding her, I feel this connection... like I’m her own mother. It’s the strangest, most beautiful thing." The world stopped.

My aching joints and weak knees are a reminder that I need to go rest but the look on Sarah and the girls told me they won't take No for an answer. “Okay, let's go sit under the tree” smiles break out in their faces and they rush to sit under the tree making space for me right next to the tree so I can rest my back on the tree. Which I did. I sat in the middle of five year olds and told them stories. It's been a regular routine for weeks now, I can say it's one of the things I look forward to most times. The kids are smart, funny and ask the silliest questions.

"Do you remember what I said about magic?" "All of it." "That's my happy place." My ears feel hot and I want to shut up, but Emma feels... safe. She might understand. "I like to imagine the big magics, no doubt- the wolf women sprinting under the moon, the witches casting spells and curses- but my favorites are the little magics. The boy in the playground getting the courage to stand up to his bully, the woman having a healthy child, unexpected discoveries. Their stories are my happy place." I smile wistfully, recalling the countless hours I spent playing the world's adventures in my head. "They live happily even when I can't. The world keeps spinning, and I'm okay with that."

Glinda responded with a nod and gave the baby in her arms. Smiling, she cradled the little bundle in her arms and swayed softly as she whispered sweet nothings to him. It took her a while but she eventually managed to soothe the baby and soon he drifted into a peaceful sleep. Unknown to her, Glinda was observing her with an admiring smile. “You sure have a way with kids,” Glinda commented as Maya gently placed the sleeping baby in the cradle. “I like to think so,” Maya answered. In the last four years, she had babysat her neighbor’s kids several times to make some money as Paul wouldn’t give her any.

Valerie's POV I sat on a chair in the longue, surrounded by children and teenagers. A little girl was in my lap, I had rocked her to sleep. I kept the rest busy with stories to distract them. The children asked me to tell them story about myself, so I made a cute one up with me and Klaus as the main characters. The teens would just laugh and shake theirs head at the silly stories. "Zara is asleep, will you put her to bed?" A little boy asked me. I had rocked three children to sleep, and the Omegas helped me put them to bed.

Years earlier her father had hung a rope swing from one of its strongest branches. Jessica swore she could fly on that swing. She would kick her legs higher and higher until she felt her stomach flip. "Look at me!" she'd scream. Her father would pretend to panic. "JESSICA!" "What?!" "You're nearly touching the clouds!" Jessica would laugh so hard she could barely hold on. Most of all though, she loved evenings because evenings meant stories. Every night after dinner they sat beside the fireplace together, and every night her father told ridiculous stories. Stories about dragons stealing chickens. Stories about sheep secretly holding meetings after midnight. Stories about cows plotting world

It dropped. Like literally. ● The amount of kids that swarm the building had me gasping for air and the decor was perfect. Heath pulled me into the house well before showing me a note "Thanks for agreeing to babysit the kids, you are the best. Friday Evening I was sitting on the couch, pumping as I waited for Rip to finish explaining to Caroline and Jon about the babies' schedules.
