I suspect because it was my first efforts at writing. There will be lots of twists and turns. It is always a process with my stories and I hope you will stick with the story to the end. Like many authors, I believe in happy ever afters, but getting there takes time, some hurts, and character growth :)

anyone who dared was immediately reduced to ashes and all the soldiers could do was to stand and wait as nothing could pass the lightning barrier. after a few minutes the lightning barrier seemed to have gotten weaker. the intense force could no longer be felt and the thundering was no longer heard. but as the soldiers got closer, they saw a man kneeling next to Uzo. his hair was as white as white could be, his eyes were as blue as an ocean of sapphires and he was clad in a pure white garment. the surrounding lightning flowed into him until none was left. and then he stood up and looked around him.

My eyes met with my favorite pistol; the one I always take when I'm out doing my work. But where is it coming from? I never brought it. There was a note under it so I took it and read what was written. It says, *This is you. And you'll soon be back to being you. Hope you didn't forget* Okay, so this is it. Yolando is really here. He's probably watching me now, planning ways to torture me. The thought sent chills all over me and I began to sweat unusually. My heart was beating to the extent I felt I might explode.

With one final, ear-piercing roar, the beast collapsed, its body dissolving into black smoke that dissipated into the air. Bruce stood in the clearing, his body battered and bloodied, but his stance victorious. His amber eyes locked onto Malrik, defiant and unyielding. “I’m not just a soldier,” he said, his voice steady despite his exhaustion. “I’m your First Soldier. The ultimate weapon.” Malrik stepped forward, his grin sharp and satisfied. “Perhaps you are,” he murmured, his tone laced with dark promise. “But remember, Bruce, your power comes from me. Fail me, and it won’t just be your strength I take away—it’ll be your life.”

He tried not to notice. Tried not to think about the conversation they had shared that morning in the training courtyard. I saw something familiar. Darkness. The words lingered in his thoughts far more than they should have. A voice broke through the murmuring court. “Your Majesty.” A tall demon stepped forward from the gathered nobles. His armor gleamed dark red beneath the torchlight, etched with the sigil of the southern legions. General Kharvek. Adrian recognized him immediately. Kharvek bowed low before the throne.

It's so sweet of him. I walk to the sport room which is on the corresponding floor as the bedchambers. The door of the sport room is already a bit open, so I enter and my moves suspend at the sight of a shirtless Eren lifting weight. Oh, he is already up. He can't see me cause his face is on the opposite side which gives me a full view of his large tanned back, tensing at his compressed movements.

He had never used his techniques with anyone, so this was his first time, and they were sure getting a taste of their own medicine. Hearing Raya’s scream had him conclude what he had to before charging in the direction of panic clinging on to him. He burst through the doors, which happened to be the ones Raya’s uncle and Darius, with a few guards, were in. “Welcome Axel,” Raya’s uncle states with a smirk Dangling on his lips. Axel paused roaming his stare around for her figure but she was nowhere to be found. Fuck!

“It’s Phase Four. He embedded it in Helena’s chip… deep, like it wasn’t meant to be found unless someone bled for it.” Josh stepped forward, jaw tight. “What does it do?” Isabelle looked at them, voice cracking with the weight of realization. “It bypasses every firewall we know. Global comms, military command chains, satellite positioning—if he triggers this, it’s all gone. Silence. Everywhere.” Philip’s face hardened. “No backup channels. No failsafes. Total isolation.” Josh folded his arms, grim. “It forces surrender. No resistance, no negotiations. The world either bends to his protocol—or tears itself apart.”

Neither one says anything for a few moments and I know my mom must be asking him, in their mind link, what’s going on. “I’ll be right down. Alpha Scarlett, Beta Cayden, make yourselves comfortable.” She calls down, using the same formality as my father when realizing it must be something serious. As the three of us walk into the living room, I see Dax, my youngest brother and my Lead Warrior sitting in an armchair, leaning forward with his arms on his legs. He’s clearly overheard the conversation between me and our dad, and also wants to know what’s going on. “Hey, Baby Bro.” I walk over to Dax and lean down to give him a hug. He growly softly at the term of endearment, but I don’t care. He

It felt like a surge of energy and it felt fucking good. “How is this possible?” He asked in confusion. “It’s why the Ultima Alpha is born female. She can share power with her mate. You will always have that connection. It is even stronger because she bore you a child already, a child with your blood that still courses through her veins. A blood oath. This is how you will always be able to help her. So, learn to channel her power, and that’s how we really win this war.” Jackson said, smiled, and walked off.
