My hair, greasy from the dirt accumulated in it. My body ached from staying in one position for so long, I was in and out like a flashlight that was losing its battery life. My wrist numb from being tied behind me, I hardly even feel my legs anymore but whenever I opened my eyes I could see them swollen with a dark blue color. Blood hardly circulates through there. My waist aches from holding my upper part of my body in place, and my neck too from hanging my head low. Breathing was where I was having the most problem.

"So, how do you feel now?" I stretch my arms and move a little bit to check if the back pain is there or not. Surprisingly, the massage has worked and the pain is almost not there. Only a slight bit of pain is there, but it happens only when I am moving too much. Other than that, it feels great. "I feel good. Much better."

It seemed like every passing hour, I was just starting to feel worse and worse. My whole body felt weak and heavy, my arm throbbed something fierce, and I couldn't focus on a single one of my classes to save my life. I couldn't help but to feel like something just wasn't right. I should be feeling better by now, not worse. The healing I had gotten should have taken care of any infection or anything like that with my wounds, and if I was sick, they would have told me.

I couldn't divulge the truth about the forceful severance, so I opted to focus on describing the symptoms. "I haven't been feeling well—constantly fatigued, struggling to keep meals down, especially in the mornings, and my body temperature has been erratic.
