ALEX I can't explain the heaviness weighing my body down. In truth, that isn't the only thing that feels off. My ears are ringing, my muscles loose and weak. I can't tell what’s happening around me, or why things suddenly feel this way, but none of it would've probably made sense… until I finally find the strength to lift my eyelids.

The morning sun hit the bedroom floor with a bright, unforgiving glare. Claire blinked. Her eyelashes felt incredibly heavy. She tried to shift her leg, but a dull, deep ache immediately spread through her thighs and lower back. She let out a tiny, breathy sigh. Every single muscle in her body felt like jelly. It was not a bad ache. It was a heavy, lazy soreness that made her want to sink right through the mattress and sleep for another ten years.

Three months have passed since that terrible incident, I feel like my body is not getting better gradually, instead I feel getting weaker recently. Sometimes I also lose the appetite to do this and that, and just want to lie down all day at home. Even this afternoon, I also feel lazy to get out of my comfortable foam chair. Even though all my friends have been home since thirty minutes ago, but I still feel at home lingering in class while resting my head on the table tiredly.

I was extremely tired, I felt really weak and my mouth was parched. I felt a sharp, banging pain in the left side my head and grimaced. I sat up on the bed with both my hands on my head. The pain was unbearable. In addition, I became dizzy all of a sudden and became aware of the heaviness in my bladder. It was probably going to explode any moment.

My limbs feel heavy; its probably the meds I took. I lie back, eyes fluttering closed. And then everything blurs. ********** When I woke up, something felt wrong. My body is heavy. Too heavy. My neck felt stiff, heavy, like I had been clenching every muscle without pause since morning. I lifted my hand, rubbing slowly from the base of my skull down to my shoulder, rotating it in small circles, trying to massage away the tension. “Goddess… what a day,” I muttered under my breath, feeling a faint sting of exhaustion behind my eyes. Today had felt unusually long.

I pushed myself up slowly, very slowly until I managed to prop myself into a sitting position. My muscles seemed to be against it though, screaming in protest as if they'd been twisted and contorted into shapes they weren't meant to be in. My body felt heavy, like I was dragging it through quicksand and my limbs trembled with the effort. I brought my hands to my temples, caressing the spots as I tried to piece together what had happened.

Limp noodle? Ah, yes. My bones felt like overcooked pasta. I was suddenly clumsy, dizzy, and extremely fatigued. I felt so out of sorts, like my mind and body were no longer connecting. And when I brought it up to Cleo, she had simply nodded, telling me it was all totally and completely normal.

The light coming through the heavy curtains was soft, but it still felt too bright for my eyes. I moved my legs under the silk sheets and immediately let out a small groan. Every single muscle in my body felt heavy and sore, a dull ache that reminded me exactly of everything that had happened on this bed. My thighs felt like lead, and even moving my arms to reach for the other side of the bed felt like a chore.

I remember I do have heavy and long eyelashes but that doesn't mean that it has caused my eyelids to gain weight to be this heavy that they ain't opening. Wait a minute! It's just not my eyelids but even my body is in some odd heaviness. There's unbearable pain in my whole system. Did I get into some fight last night? Nope! Then what did I do last night to have such trouble in the early morning? Huff! My body is so sore and has turned into rock. 'Ah! Ah! Ah!' God! What kind of vision was that? Why I was shaking while making odd sounds? What I just recall was indeed me or someone else. Huff! My head is aching badly. I guess I got a hangover in the morning to deal with it the whole day. So fru
