REBORN AS A SUPERSTAR
I reached out to hit the snooze button, but my arm felt like it was made of lead, and I had to summon all my energy just to move it.
With a heavy sigh, I dragged myself into a sitting position, my head pounding with each movement. It felt as if a construction crew was jackhammering inside my skull, and my temples throbbed in rhythm with my heartbeat. I tried to shake off the fog that clouded my mind, but my thoughts felt muddled like I was trying to think through a dense fog.
As I swung my legs over the side of the bed and attempted to stand, my body protested with fatigue. My muscles ached as if I had run a marathon the day before, and my bones felt like they were made from lead.
