I gasped, pressing my hand to my forehead, feeling heat that hadn't been there before. The phone buzzed again, the vibration somehow too loud, drilling into my skull. I reached for it, intending to turn it off completely, but my hand missed. Everything felt wrong suddenly, my body felt too heavy, my thoughts became too slow, like I was moving through syrup. The headache intensified, blinding white pain lancing through my temples, and I fell back against the pillow, unable to hold myself upright. Something was wrong, really wrong, but I couldn't organize my thoughts enough to figure out what.

This is a very bad timing, I need to prepare my mind for my induction, not feeling this sudden sickness. My skin feels too tight, and too hot, like there is fire trapped under it. A deep ache curls low in my stomach, then it begin to spread fast, which makes me so hot and restless. My entire body is tense, I can’t even feel my hands. “This can’t be an ordinary discomfort” I murmured. As I move from one edge of my bed to another. I try to press my palm on my bed frame, to steady myself a little. “Nothing seems to work.”

It’s after twelve. My head is a little woozy and stuffy as it’s ridiculously hot in the office now, stiflingly so and it’s making me feel nauseous. My clothes are almost clinging to me with dampness, and I’m irritated because of the inability to breathe or find relief. It’s oppressive.
