Bakugan Masquerade Novels & Stories

Elias, next to me, stood up straight and proud, like he was claiming his place. Noelle was shaking with anger as she looked at me. "Darcy, are you crazy! Do you know what you're doing?" Andrew rushed over too, whispering to me: "Darcy, don't be silly! Stop the wedding now!" I did not listen to them and passed the microphone to the person next to me. "Elias, tell everyone why you're here." Elias and I exchanged smiles, his voice calm and clear. "Today, I'm standing here because Howard gave me fifteen thousand dollars to pretend to be him at this wedding. "

RODWARTEM “What?” surprised, I asked Guenzo as I did not hear what he said. Guenzo sighed. “I said the Queen is looking at you but you are not reacting. Hayys, where did your mind wandered just now?” “Damn,” I cursed as I averted my gaze toward the Queen who was as usual was wearing her ivory mask, who was indeed looking at me. A smile started to form my lips as I bowed with gallantness. In my mind, I was wondering what kind of a face the Queen had inside that ivory mask. Although I was sure she was beautiful. Her lips alone that was uncovered was already that inviting.

But Cassiopeia had already begun speaking to Alessandro in his native tongue, and the pair were quickly absorbed in their conversation. Geez, lady, this is not a good time to ignore me! It was no use waiting for them to finish. They seemed like they were going to be talking for a while. Feeling annoyed—and somewhat anxious—I had no choice but to leave them. My mind was spinning. Lord Masquerade? Magical? It was easier for me to believe the little girl's dress could glow. Sure, Masquerade was generous and compassionate, but who needs to be magical to have those virtues? Of course, that would explain why he felt different from everyone else.

As the ding resounds again, I’m just in time to see his broad back disappear to the right. “I’m so sorry. I’m really looking forward to my new bag.” Elisabetta remains standing another second awkwardly, before she scurries after her brother. Yeah. Awesome, indeed. *** The moment I arrive home, I have a very bad feeling. Nina and I swore to keep today’s event secret, but it weighs heavy in my stomach. It is paired with my sense of guilt at the upcoming party. Which gets even intensified by the fact that I’m carrying around a lilac mask with golden embellishments and feathers in a bag freshly bought from an exclusive boutique. After setting my bags down in my room, I go out to join my family t

When we finally pulled up to the towering gates of the Claw Bane pack’s house, I took a shaky breath, willing myself to stay calm. Beta Nathan stepped out first, opening the door for us, and I gathered the skirts of my dress as I followed Alpha Rowan onto the wide stone path leading up to the ballroom entrance. It was just as I had always remembered it. Alpha Rowan paused, reaching into his coat pocket, and handed me a delicate, intricate mask. Its silver edges gleamed in the moonlight, fine threads curling into the shapes of leaves and feathers. Relief washed over me as I realised—this was a masquerade. With the mask, I’d be hidden, anonymous. Maybe, just maybe, this could work.

Levi then took the voucher inside and showed it to Bethany. “What’s that”, she asked. “I’m not sure”, he replied. “Really! Just open the bag” she said. “Yeah, I should”, he replied as both laughed. As he opens the bag, he finds a card and 2 masquerade masks. “IF THIS VOUCHER IS IN YOUR HANDS, BIG CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE AMONG THE LUCKY FEW THAT ARE INVITED TO “RESORT MASQUERADE”, THE PRESTIGIOUS RESORT MASQUERADE PARTY. DRESS-CODE, ALL WHITE WITH YOUR MASQUERADE MASK, SEE YOU AT 8 PM”, the card read.

“I haven’t seen anything or anyone kids, now you 7 need to leave because you aren’t allowed back here." “-The Masked Queen is a brand built by the Slim-Jim agency and from my sources, the image alone costs twenty million dollars, and with L.K being the representative it’s ten million dollars on the twenty million. That’s a lot of money to lose people!” Her loud exclamation can be heard through the speakers so I cover it in panic. “Hearing that you were able to get rights over your brand makes me curious how you did it, Slim-Jim isn’t an agency that would like to lose that much money without putting up a damn hard fight. The world is curious L.K, how the hell did you do it?”

Her squad started to set up while Timothy was bounded on the trunk of a tree. "Alec, can you distribute the content of the bag?" Khloe directed, earning clueless looks from us. Alec frowned as he peaked inside the garbage bag before he took out a black fabric. One by one, he tossed them to us which likely a robe or something before he revealed a creepy rabbit mask. "I heard you love rabbits," Khloe said, smirking at Tiana. "As a symbol of your revenge, we're going to wear those masks." Allison chuckled while Tiana's eyes glowed in excitement.

Imogene Scott The dress I picked for the masquerade is pink, with spaghetti straps and a skirt that stops at mid-thigh, showing off my legs. My wig is long, wavy and pink as well. I seriously adore how the colors go together for me. I’m pretty sure no one will be able to recognize me with the pearlescent white mask I’m wearing. It has tiny feathers and cubic zirconia around the edges. As I stand by the champagne tower—which is just a statue of a champagne cup with water overflowing out of it like a fountain, I take a quick picture of it. The lights on the sandy beach are dimmed for ambiance—or maybe they’re trying to conserve electricity. Who the hell knows?

The tailor has listened to our exchange, and he disappears for a few moments before returning with everything Zayden described. ‘I hear it’s a masquerade ball?’ he smiles. ‘It is indeed. Do you have masks?’ I ask him. ‘Yes, I have masks,’ he says as he retrieves a bundle for us to look through. I choose a black mask that covers all of my forehead and my nose. It covers enough of my face that no one will be able to recognize me. Zayden comes out of another room to show us his outfit. He looks amazing. ‘Alright. We will take those, and he will need boots,’ I say, looking at his bare feet.
