Bakugan Masquerade Novels & Stories

There were no happy endings here. “So, this marriage… this Masquerade Ball. How does it all work?” I asked, my voice almost hollow as I tried to understand this bizarre world I had been dragged into. Sasha’s smile turned a little warmer as she explained. “This is a bit different than your regular wedding, darling. Everyone will wear masks. Jace won’t come until later, so you just have to go around, talk, dance, enjoy yourself. And then, when he arrives, you’ll go to the front and do your vows.”

SUNESIS'S POV The silver mask was cold against my skin. It felt completely different from the hot, stuffy air of the dressing room. I stood in front of the broken mirror, my hands shaking as I fixed my long black silk dress. I made sure the fabric covered my shoulders and arms perfectly. I had to hide everything from my neck down. Underneath the smooth cloth were the deep, ugly burn scars that ruined my body, the painful marks from the fire that took my family away.

My mother has been working in Casanova for a long time, and if they can ensure her safety, then they can surely ensure mine too. "Alright.. I'll do it." My grip on Mama V's hand turned firm. "Just tell me what I have to do." Mama V gave me a small, sad nod. "You have your mother's spirit. We start tomorrow. Welcome to the family, Aurelia." =====☆☆☆☆☆===== It feels like a nightmare, but as I looked at myself in the mirror, the reflection that stares back at me said otherwise. The white masquerade mask covered half of my face, the white bodice sparkling from the embedded crystals, and the short flowy white mini skirt told me that I look like a dream.

Beside it lay a mask—a plain, featureless white porcelain half-mask that covered the eyes and nose, devoid of glitter, feathers, or expression. "It looks like a shroud," Aria whispered, picking up the heavy velvet. "It’s a Domino," Cassandra corrected, applying a layer of gold shimmer to her collarbones. "Very Venetian. Very mysterious. And most importantly, it blends in with the drapes." She turned from the mirror, her eyes critical and cold. "Tonight is my twenty-ninth birthday, Aria. It is a Masquerade. The theme is 'Gilded Age Decadence.' I am the Queen. Damian is the King. And you..." She gestured vaguely at the gray heap. "You are the shadow."

Death said. “I don’t think so.” Heaven and look down. CHAOS is inside his room and trying the suits that his mom sends to him, he keeps complaining to her because she literally sends him 10 different suits a side from the suits he sends for his other friends, but all she replies is giggled. The ball was the theme masquerade and they did just announce that earlier good thing the all has a mask what is actually a mask that every DB member has, his is just different.

Hasen said as he took out a box and placed it on the table. Amanda grabbed some and examined them. They are modern masquerade ball masks, some of which were white, black, or silver in color. They were embellished with sparkling glitter, side feathers, jewels, and glossy silk. There are half, full, or had handles that cover the upper part of the face. "I will go now, I—" Jin said as he stood up, but he was pushed by back Hasen and Goro. "Hey man! No fair! Have some fun as well!" Hasen pats his back and side-hugged him, "Come with us to the nightclub!"

Tristan had a bit of a hard time getting off because he made sure that the clothes he and Skye were wearing wouldn’t get tangled. Looking at Tristan and Skye, they look like real father and son, even more so, and they are wearing the same clothes. “Wait.” I took my bag and the small backpack where my children’s extra things were. As a mother, I didn’t bring a purse bag because I had a few things with me that were for the children. Then I also took our masks, which were placed at the center table. The theme of the party is a masquerade. “Let’s go.” I said to the three as I approached them.

Shit, this makes me nervous. "Before you go inside, you must use this, ma'am. Tonight is a special night of the month when we do this masquerade party. So, anyone can meet others without knowing his or her identity." Josh gives me a white lace mask. "Okay, so no one will know me?" "Yes, correct, and here, use this bracelet. Enjoy your night, ma'am." Lucky for me. Not even Selene or Gabriel can't identify me. This is so good.

I gestured vaguely at my face and my bruised arms. He only smiled at my complaints. "It’s a masquerade, babe," he said, crossing the room in two strides and dropping a white garment bag onto the bed. Curiosity prickled through the ache. I unzipped the bag, and inside lay a gown. It was a soft wash of midnight blue silk that shimmered when the light touched it. The bodice was structured but delicate, tiny beads stitched along the sweetheart neckline like stars scattered across a night sky. The skirt flared gently, enough to move with me without weighing me down. And a matching mask, edged with silver filigree, hung from one of the satin straps.

This is driving me crazy, who was that crazy guy? She had to get her mask back no matter what, she crouch down and covered her face. but what if he is still there or even worse he has my bag. No, she should not jinx it, she could just run away again, right? But she knew it was all because she had a few seconds' heads start when she ran yesterday and then again she was already spent too. She got up and smiled at herself, it had to work, she would mask her scent and go get her bag... easy right? Kiara came knocking next and she shook her head at her door. No, just leave it alone. She couldn't dismiss her as she did to the other person.
