"Wait—I might have something that can make it a whole lot easier." "How?" "A spell. To change your shape and your scent. Not much, just enough to mess with their scans." I lifted an eyebrow. "A spell? Who casts one on me?" He was grinning. "Remember Old Magda?" "Oh no. Not her. The woman's insane." "She is not insane. She is a morals-unquestioning mystic herbalist," he told me. "She's insane," I told him. "Talented," he said . "Come on, before you wake up to your senses."

I moved quickly, brushing past Seth's scorching stare, and wrapped Ruby in my arms, shielding her from the prying lenses with my back, a fortress of protection. I patted her back, my voice heavy but clear, loud enough for the cops and reporters close by to catch every word: "Don't be scared, I'm here now. Everything's going to be okay. The police are here... Whoever did this to you, they're going to pay." Those words were both a balm and a command, cementing Ruby's resolve. She wept harder, her sobs a heart-wrenching symphony of grief. "Zayden! You bastard! It was you! You're the one who framed me!"

She would shatter his delusions completely and leave him with no reason to pursue her anymore! She would never return to that hell! Never! Marisol got up and walked to the walk-in closet, rummaging through the pile of clothes she'd scattered earlier to find a mask. It was one of the masks Emilia had sent over before the masquerade ball. She had told her to choose whichever she liked. "The ball's already over. What do you need that for?" Alinta followed. "Does it look good?" Marisol picked up a white cat half-mask, held it over the upper half of her face, and looked up at Alinta.

Shit, this makes me nervous. "Before you go inside, you must use this, ma'am. Tonight is a special night of the month when we do this masquerade party. So, anyone can meet others without knowing his or her identity." Josh gives me a white lace mask. "Okay, so no one will know me?" "Yes, correct, and here, use this bracelet. Enjoy your night, ma'am." Lucky for me. Not even Selene or Gabriel can't identify me. This is so good.

Death said. “I don’t think so.” Heaven and look down. CHAOS is inside his room and trying the suits that his mom sends to him, he keeps complaining to her because she literally sends him 10 different suits a side from the suits he sends for his other friends, but all she replies is giggled. The ball was the theme masquerade and they did just announce that earlier good thing the all has a mask what is actually a mask that every DB member has, his is just different.

] "No, show me my friends list first." Creed looked at his friend list and got happy. He saw a green dot was visible next to her name. 'Golden Butterfly' was online. He instantly sent her a duel request. Although he wasn't sure if she would accept the request or not, he still tried. After waiting for a minute, he got some response. [ Opponent: ' Golden Butterfly ' has accepted your challenge. Prepare to engage in a Masked battle in 5 seconds.] The white omnipresent space around him again morphed into a wide arena. They both were standing in the middle of the colosseum battleground. The boundary of the colosseum was the spectating area.

This competition was held by XWorld so the medical was one of the best ones, and they have potions that can regain your HP up to 100%. Jake was ready to announce the next fight and Rosy removed another name and announced the player name, "Bunny Baby" and a huge tall girl dressed in a bunny outfit could be seen walking in the arena with a weapon that looked like a great sword. Rosy announced the name that will be fighting against Bunny baby is "Devil Chick". The name was announced and a small heightened girl with her face covered with a black mask and a small pistol could be seen hanging on her waist.

Each group had different ways of treating their members before finally given their corpse to Mother earth. The last masquerader to be seen was a tall and lean masquerader. He carried plantain leaves with his brown teeth and was completely covered from head to toe. He wore a thick brown mask with strange patterns drawn on it. He drew closer to Akunna, circled him for sometime before rubbing his chest with white chalk. Brief words of grief followed, then he vanished out of sight.

“Is the agency keeping the rights that comes with the Masked Queen, are we going to have a new Masked Queen now that you’re leaving, do you know who it will be?” Letting out a snort, she replies. “Wow hawk-guy, looks like there’s a lot on your mind.” She chuckles and I force a small laugh along with her. “No, they’re not going to have a new Queen. It was a hard, long, and gruelling fight but I was able to retain the rights of the Masked Queen. And yes, at some point I will reveal my identity but right now, it’s not that time.” “F**king wow!”

They all screamed so loud while I remained silent with Nathan beside me. Monsters. I am in the cave of heartless monsters. “Well, tonight, we will begin our Mask Battle! We have your numbers and you don't know about that. To spice up everything, you will know that you are the one who will battle with somebody here when the spotlight points at you.” I glanced at the two spotlights moving around above. “When one is already killed, the winner can unmask his or her opponent. The winners will have their clan rank up and will receive a million from his opponent.”
