A Slap to Send the Scumbag Crawling

A Slap to Send the Scumbag Crawling

I suddenly saw my reflection in his arrogant eyes as nothing but a pitiful, stray mongrel he decided to give his leftover scraps to. Then, without further thought, he shoved me toward the door, meaning to tell me to get a cab back home instead. Just then, Eva suddenly ran over to us. "Mr. Garner! Ms. Castro—" While running toward me, she deliberately "failed" to stop herself and crashed right into me. A split second later, I felt her forcefully push me off the stairs so that I'd tumble all the way down to the ground. I bumped myself into several steps and even scraped and cut myself on them. Finally, I tumbled and landed with a heavy plop into a roadside ditch.

Fix all the broken things around the pack lands and removing all the rubble and broken trees. More importantly we spent it helping the families that had lost someone and supporting those that had lost their mate as that was one of the hardest things to ever having to deal with, literally loosing the other part of your soul, no one could ever fully recover from that and most chose not to stay in this world.

The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

It rushed by just below the road. “F-k,” Cameron’s jaw dropped as he pressed his forehead to the window. “There’s about a bee’s dick before this bridge is flooded. Hopefully we can come back this way.” Aislen stared at the water expecting to see bodies floating along like logs. There was a lot of debris in the river - branches of trees, rubbish collected along the path of the flood, broken pieces of wood. She saw a pram bob by and felt her skin crawl. She hoped that had been empty when it had gone into the flood waters.

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

Ruining Me, Ruining You

Ruining Me, Ruining You

Flora's lips curled into a mocking smile as she seemed about to say more when Shaun Gabler hurried in from outside. Her expression changed instantly, and she reverted to her innocent and delicate persona while calling out helplessly, "Shaun…" By then, the first wave of the earthquake had ended. What was once a clean and orderly office was now a chaotic mess. Debris was scattered everywhere on the floor, and the hanging lights on the ceiling swayed precariously, mirroring the unease in everyone's hearts during the quake. Shaun scanned the room and saw me trapped under the heavy cupboard. "Nancy, are you okay?" His gaze flickered, but he didn't step forward to help.

The Billionaire's Forgotten Ex-wife

The Billionaire's Forgotten Ex-wife

I bark, shoving him toward Ryder before forcing my way deeper into the hellscape. I surge forward, weaving through the inferno, lungs screaming in protest. The cyanide gas hisses, sparking against loose wiring, sending unpredictable explosions roaring through the building. The heat is unbearable, suffocating. Fuck. Rage and desperation fuel my steps as I search the lounge, my heart hammering. Finally, I see Bam Bam. She’s sprawled on the ground, trapped beneath a heavy couch. Her frail body barely moves. The only sign of life is her bloodshot, terrified eyes staring blankly, her chest rising in the weakest, most pitiful gasps.

I am enjoying this book. Lincoln is a real husband. He’s not like the husbands in some of the other books that I’ve read on this app where the husband is in denial and ignorant for the mistress or ex and never believes or protects his wife. Thanks author this is refreshing.

Now why would anyone want a man who can so easily be manipulated to become vicious towards his own wife!? Viv is an absolute snake who gets 90% of the blame, but Deric lost all my sympathy when he allowed his friends to do something so horrible to her!! →_→ I'm rooting for Arella and only Arella

Epitome of Bloody Love

Epitome of Bloody Love

"What? Don't brag! You're not a witch any more! You're an ordinary creature! Get it!" The floor suddenly shook violently. Jay and Ruby gasped, reflexively clinging to each other. Ruby squeezed the hem of Jay's shirt to form several folds. Jay shielded Ruby's head from the rubble. The dust hit Ruby's nose, leaving it itchy. The texture of the debris reminded Ruby of the bread crumbs he gave the fish. He felt that the fish was in a threatened position. "Jay? What's going on here? What happened?" asked Ruby anxiously, her throat stinging as she swallowed.

Her Hockey Stepbrother, Her Worst Enemy, Her Beloved

Her Hockey Stepbrother, Her Worst Enemy, Her Beloved

“Can you please not do this right now?” But Bambi only smirked, her voice climbing even higher. “Oh, let them watch. Maybe they deserve to know what a slut you really are.” I rolled my eyes so hard it almost hurt. “Wow. Original. You ever get tired of recycling the same boring insults?” Before she could snap back, movement caught my eye. Maxton. His jaw was tight, eyes locked on us as he stormed over. Without hesitation, he grabbed Bambi’s arm and yanked her back, anger blazing in his stare.

When Arrows Fly

When Arrows Fly

Rubin gave me a look before she ran off, “I’m going to a start the fire!” I cheekily took the fishes out of the river bank, putting them inside a pail. Rubin was fumbling with the matches and I sighed, taking it from her, “You have to scratch the head on this rough part to light it up.” “Oh!” she gasped, watching the little fire that emitted from the stick. I threw the match down at the wood, flicking my hand so that it easily lights up. The fire swallowing the wood. “This is brilliant, fantastic! Everything you show me is outstanding.”
