Behind her was a group of giant men, their intimidating presence filling the room with tension.
Rose took a cautious step forward. "What is going on here?" she asked, her voice wavering.
Sophia tilted her head slightly, her smirk widening. "Good evening Smith's," she greeted, her tone soft but with an undertone of something darker.
"You didn't answer my mother, damn it!" John snapped, his gaze darting between the men behind Sophia.
"I'm here to take back what's mine," she said, her voice calm. "From now on, everything you’ve taken from S.M.—the money in your accounts, the houses, the cars, even the clothes on your backs—belongs to me."
