A God’s Tale

A God’s Tale

The dark lord growled, remaining frozen as his smile intensified; the sound of footsteps and hoofs echoing through the dense wood. Elika saw hundreds of faces appear from behind the towering trees, her heart seeming to skip a beat. She panted, turning in a tight circle. The trees continued to scream at her, the wind hissing vilely. Creatures the princess had never seen before were closing in on her from all sides, the dark lord laughing wickedly as fear coated her features. She took a deep breath, beginning to panic as the strangers neared her, both mystical and human. A large wolf howled, strolling towards her from the left. She ducked, rolling across the muddied ground as a large man attem

The Book of Deceive

The Book of Deceive

Other Sumir poems relate Gimir's defeat of the ogre Huwawa and the Bull of Heaven and a fifth, poorly preserved one apparently describes his death and funeral. In later Bavin times, these stories began to be woven into a connected narrative. The standard Akkadian Epic of Gimir was composed by a scribe named Sîn-lēqi-unninni, probably during the Middle Bavin Period (c. 1600 – c. 1155 SA), based on much older source material. In the epic, Gimir is a demigod of superhuman strength who befriends the wild-man Enkin. Together, they go on adventures, defeating Humbaba (the East Semitic name for Huwawa) and the Bull of Heaven, who, in the epic, is sent to attack them by Ishtar (the East Semitic equi

Finrir sees this as his moment to not just recount their arduous journey but to weave a tale that immerses them in the vivid reality he experienced. Bryan's request for information resonates with Finrir, and with a graceful motion, he glides a few strokes backward, creating a subtle distance between himself and the others. This deliberate movement sets the stage, signaling his intent to employ his bardic skills and transport them into the heart of the narrative. With squared shoulders and unwavering determination, he prepares to share their tale.

Tales of the Moonlit Grimoire

Tales of the Moonlit Grimoire

I revealed, noticing Rafe's nod of understanding. We delved into werewolf lore, where each reincarnation serves as a link to the root of our predicament. Rafe, piecing together the fragments of our story, sought further enlightenment. "Then what is the source of all this suffering?" he asked, his eyes reflecting a newfound understanding. "The original werewolf used the sacred Grimoire as a bed for their lovemaking in the woods," I revealed, watching Rafe's shock at the revelation. The idea that a sacred object could be so desecrated was beyond his wildest imagination.

Norbert's Tales

She narrowed her eyes at him before responding,"And isn't it a surprise that Winchester demigod was found drunk in someone's backyard, and got saved by a girl who he tortured sometime ago, and probably is getting one of the worst hangovers ever?!" She gave him a very evil smile. "You are Jezebel, Eve, Delilah, Heriodias, and Lucifer's daughter all in one. Thanks for last night anyways. I must have been a mess." "You know even a name from the Bible?" She asked, in mock pretense. "Who would've thought? You're welcome by the way. I gotta go now." She was up from the bed in a second, and in the bathroom packing her stuff in the next.

The Lycan King's Forbidden Craving

The Lycan King's Forbidden Craving

"The Ballads of the Ancients." She breathed in deeply. "My father and I read fragments of it once—old, tattered pages that barely held together. But this—this is a preserved copy." She turned to him, her silver eyes gleaming with excitement. "This book holds some of the oldest lyrical records—war songs, love ballads, and tales of fallen warriors. Some say the chants within were once sung by seers to foretell destiny." "Hmm." Duncan crossed his arms over his chest. "Is that so? Your father must have been a great man to have such a brilliant book."

Dark, Twisted but really good. At first the story is Dark with too much Twisted scenes. Romance development it's the Best trait in this story. I enjoy it a lot, yet it's not perfect, half the story it's too much to handle with really disturbing scenes. Also I like better the second couple. congrats!

I love this story and writing! The story of Lylah grew on me and where the second part took her. This book became more than the Lycan King’s craving, and it’s now our craving. If you haven’t read this yet I suggest you do! But uh, when will you write more??? Please do. We need to see this through!...

Tale of the White Wolf

Tale of the White Wolf

’ I asked hopefully and he shook his head and then groaned; I was startled. ‘Are you okay, Uncle?’ he raised his hand, motioned me to sit. ‘I am fine, it’s just that I forgot the book I was thinking of bringing.’ I looked at him confused. ‘Book?’ he nodded. ‘It is about white wolves. I don’t know how council found that book, but I had seen it once in the library, however, never opened it. I will send it to you after going back, just remind me okay.’ Although we don’t know what is written inside the book I still hope we can find any help from it and a little would be enough for us right now.’ Lilith excused herself, she had been busy with some work leaving me and uncle alone, I was grateful f

I was flipping through my well-worn copy of 'Celtic Fairy Tales' just last week, marveling at how each story carries its own unique charm. The collection, compiled by Joseph Jacobs, contains 26 tales in total. From the eerie 'The Field of Boliauns' to the whimsical 'Guleesh,' it's a treasure trove of folklore that feels like stepping into another world.

What I love most is how these stories blend magic with everyday life—fairies meddling in human affairs, heroes outsmarting giants, and lessons wrapped in enchantment. It's not just the number that impresses me, but how each one lingers in your imagination long after you've closed the book. I still catch myself humming tunes from 'The Horned Women' sometimes!
