Fae yelled, rushing at Rebby. Before she could reach her, Aubrey blew a whistle, stopping them in their tracks. They stood inches apart, panting heavily, while Aubrey folded her arms with an eye roll. “What the hell is wrong with you two?” she snapped. “You’re fighting over a guy who probably doesn’t give two shits about either of you. So he begged to have sex with you, Fae. Most guys do that. And Rebby, MOVE ON! You have a boyfriend now, and he got you all these nice things.”

I’m sure he wouldn’t hesitate to punish her for having a private conversation with me. No matter how much I want to have a friendship with her, I know that this is dangerous for her. She has to deal with Xavier and until I get her to safety, I won't push things. We get to the fields and sit on the ground. I look at Alaric and notice him staring at his cousin so I answered Aubrey myself with a nod. “H-He is my Thesis partner from Damian’s subject.” She seems surprise by the information, looking at Damian. “That was kind of awkward.” She mumbled but chuckle right away. She then stand next to Alaric, messing the latter’s hair. “Hey, couz!” Alaric growled. “Stop it.” Aubrey just laugh before she look at Damian. “I guess, I should get going now?” She move her eyes from Damian then to me. “It’s nice seeing you aga—“
