Bound in Ash and Moonlight

Bound in Ash and Moonlight

"And don't dodge the question. What was that thing?" "That," he said, gesturing in the direction the creature had disappeared, "was a basilisk. Relatively young one, judging by its size." He looked her up and down, his gaze lingering in a way that made her pulse quicken. "You're lucky I was here. Their gaze can paralyze most creatures." "But not you," she observed. "No," he agreed. "Not me." Dante gestured to the shimmering forest around them, the movement drawing her attention to the strong line of his jaw and the way his shoulders filled out his simple black tunic.

Blood Moon: The Lycan Alpha's Little Witch

Blood Moon: The Lycan Alpha's Little Witch

This was the king of serpents. 'The basilisk.' I quickly look away from its yellow eyes reflecting death at me. I read about the Basilisk in old magical lores, it was a giant serpent, also known as the King of Serpents. Aside from its deadly and venomous fangs that had the ability to destroy anything, the Basilisk has a murderous stare, and all who are fixed with the beam of its eye shall suffer instant death 'I can't look at it, I need to avoid its gaze.' I mentally warmed myself.

This is really sad. they keep deleting all my comments like this book isn't mine. This is C.D Peters the author of this book. This platform deleted my account over false allegations and still kept my book to profit their pockets. I don't know if you guys can read my comments, they keep deleting me

I am loving this book a lot. I cannot believe that the blonde haired woman actually thought that Dimitri was here. Wait until she finds out that Isabella is his..I mean Natalie for now is his mate. I have a feeling that things are going to get interesting.

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

Blakely Held in place by dozens of shimmering chains stood the biggest snake I’d ever seen. It was the size of a school bus. No, even bigger. Ulrich stood and raised his hand, silencing the crowd. “The Goddesses final opponent of the night is the mighty—the fearsome—Basilisk!” The crowd roared and cheered as I fought to keep from pissing myself. ‘Control your bladder, woman.’ Aris huffed, ‘I refuse to die covered in urine.’

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

The Unwanted Luna

I look at her in question so she explains further. “You see, as we speak, Basilisk, the snake, is still latched to your neck. He is sifting through your spirit and soul. His venom is pouring into you, and not just into your physical body. If he finds any darkness inside you, that is dark desires or a character like greed or dark emotions like hatred, then the venom will kill you. If not, then you will receive the power of the elixir.” She finishes. “No one has ever been able to get the elixir and the few who made it to the last stage died because almost all of them were filled with greed, the need for vengeance, anger, hatred, selfishness and bitterness” fate number two says.

That feeling of not wanting it to end. Finally, I love the writing style, how descriptive the author is with her words, and how well she explains the werewolf terms. This is especially good for readers trying to understand the werewolf world. Not forgetting the emotions,I love it. Love you, Author!

I just started reading this book as I love the authors other book I was reading. However….Am I missing something? It just seems like between chapter 3 and chapter 4 maybe a chapter or two are missing. There is a huge jump in the story.

Alpha Erik

Alpha Erik

Instead, it was a part of me; we were one and the same. I would still live an immortal life, only having one enemy that could stop me from ever being reborn, permanently ending my life. A Basilisk. A venous snake shifter that, like me, was rare, most believed them to be extinct. But now that I existed, one would be born, if not already—the universe now having to find balance in all forms. It was mindblowing the things I had already read about. For example, I could enchant items with my flames, similar to everlasting fire. But unlike everlasting fire, I couldn't break wards or spells with it, only strengthen things.

Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!

Do not awaken the Undead king

Do not awaken the Undead king

Because Asper Glein, the garrison commander and their absolute leader, had so commanded them. Therefore, Gerhard’s bodyguards weren’t even able to take action when the king was shackled and the black mages almost neutralized. Only the druids with their evil animal spirits went into battle. But their first two attempts to tear the daring rebel to pieces failed. The strange magic under Reive’s control was slowly suffocating them. Yet it turned out the magic creatures were quite strong. The basilisk was obstinately shedding the Dark. Dark was flowing down his skin like black water almost without doing any harm. It didn’t allow him to take a step forward either. The talons on his paws were sinki

Luna Rising

Luna Rising

" Clayton cries out in irritation. "Is that?" The monster let out a sonic roar causing the world to shake. "Yeah," I clench my fist and growl. "The basilisk has evolved into another mythical creature." The three-headed monster glares down at us as smoke emerges from its nostrils. It's fuming its anger and the evilness within. Hexia has spent time taking care of a snake and successfully turned it into another vicious creature told in Ancient Greek stories. It's the reason why her brothers were defeated. It's because of this. "Hydra."

Hale Academy: University of Sui Generis

John asked as he stood up from where he’d been writing something on the floor, with chalk. “Rare, but then again rarer still are the demons and gods”, she muttered, “The common supreme beings happen to be chimeras, Kitsune, Hydras, Medusa, Kraken, a lot of nymphs and sirens, a lot of Greek mythologies if I had to be pedantic. Oh! Your homeroom teacher Mr. Edwards is a Leviathan, and his wife is a siren I think, we’ve had the first werewolf too; The Beast of Gévaudan and Fenrirs too, a Minotaur and Basilisks. I personally have known three different Basilisks”, she listed as she tried to recall the different Ascendants she’d met. “I thought if one existed, another Ascendant of the same kind co

I Make My Own Happy Ending

But the Prince had hid them, and raised them, and now they rip apart Anomalies and lay the bodies at his feet. But the worst of all these was the serpent. His Master had great regrets about the serpent, because it had originally been his favorite experimental subject. It was a basilisk, a creature that had a thousand lives. The Prince had witnessed its five-hundred-and-fifty-ninth death at the hands of the Master, and the Prince felt pity for it and helped it escape. The Prince then made a contract with the basilisk by granting it one wish, and from then on the creature was changed. The basilisk, which the Prince had named Jorus, became an existence like a curse. It gave up its remaining fou
